I'm currently testing the waters to see how this community is to having me apply as an administrator on omnimaga. I believe that a leader acting under a policy of laissez-faire (hands off, let the community govern itself - with intervention only as a last case option) would allow Omnimaga to foster the spirit that its been trying to capture since its inception. The current and new staff would act as a council, with the administrator making judgements only when there's a stalemate or argument amongst the staff. This would basically be the structure that Omnimaga has now - only instead of an active administrator who (no offense intended or implied) occasionally goes rogue when a dispute arises - it would have someone who would act as a guiding force, allowing them to do their job. As a moderator and intermediary, Omnimaga can continue to thrive. What does everyone else think about this proposal? |
