Ah gotcha, although new users would have much less posts to search through if they really were dedicated :P

Well it depends. Did the post add anything useful to the conversation or were they just 3-word posts or even a post saying "/me lost" outside the spam section. Sometimes people gives downvotes not only for rude posts, but also spammy or messages they consider useless.

Oh god, I posted something just like that on the same thread D:

Wait,
"Darn /me wants it for the cx" wasn't downrated, but

"why was I downrated?" got -2.

That makes no sense

Oh it's the question that did? It might be because some people saw it as a complain about negative ratings (which used to be against the rules)

Wow. That tool seems usefull. I knew that when my acccount got deleted some upratings were missing.
It appears to be just 3. I have now 78, which should be 81. O.O

Lol. This is a great tool. I agree that 50+ to view is too high. Lower it to like 20. Or 25. (I passed the +50 just a month ago and I am here over 1 year)

Maybe that means you don't deserve it.

[...]
Netham45 also came up with an useful tool so you can check which posts you got up/downrated.
[...]
I found this tool quite informative, if not useful. It satisfies my curiosity as to what posts of mine got up-rated and helps me figure out what I said wrong if it got down-rated.

Even though I've been around for ages and that I *should* know what sort of posts should get what reaction, at least it takes the guesswork out of figuring out how my respect got to where it was.

Spoiler For Oh Great One!:
And even though we keep talking of cooking and doing unspeakable things to the Blue Lobster, we are blessed to have such a forgiving Great Lobster, and that he provides for us even through it all. Netham45 truly is the greatest! Bow down for we are not worthy of his presence!
A Cherry-Flavored Iambian draws near... what do you do? ...

Perhaps replacing the minimum respect requirement with a minimum post requirement? If the intent of the restriction is to prevent new users from making drama out of downvotes, that seems to make more sense.

This is an awesome tool, though.
See you, space cowboy...
