Title: The world's first finished Prizm program published online
Post by: DJ Omnimaga on January 25, 2011, 02:24:51 pm
Although this is neither game-development-related or website related, Casio Prizm development is finally resulting in program releases. News reports that today, the first downloadable copy of a finished Casio Prizm BASIC third-party program has been found online. This program, which marks the beginning of a new calculator programming era that most TI owners will envy, is called Quadratic Slover!

As the readme says, the program required one month to make, but we unfortunately could not find any contact info in it. A copy of the ZIP file has been attached to this post and can be downloaded here (http://www.omnimaga.org/index.php?action=dlattach;topic=6343.0;attach=5784).

It definitively seems that the TI community has a lot of influence in Casio programming now. Could this first ever FX-cg10 program release set a new standard in calculator programming?

Blegh, 69 is an uglyish number. But seriously, those are some of my favorite numbers ♥
Also, I'm glad people are keeping with the tradition of Quadratic solvers :D
If I ever get a Prizm, it will be one of my first programs.

(and I'm not married :P )

Oh, sorry 'bout that. But on a positive not, (x+3)(x+8)=x^2+11x+24.

Now, can you get a 1337 quadratic solvar to solve it?

Wow!  I've never seen such a fantastic quadratic solver!
It almost equals the WFRNG!

Oh yeah here is a screen shot of my snake game. It took me forever to get a proper screenshot of gameplay because the screen capture only updates when the calc is not busy. The download is in the other calc projects sub-forum.

Qwerty said he already ported WFRNG to the Prizm, but I believe its not working yet because Casio hasn't given us any example OS's to mess around with yet.

Edit: ninja'd. What you lost it. I was looking forward to WFRNG on the Prizm.

I thought it was the BASIC game? ???

But yeah I mean the joke article was about the first online release of a finished Prizm program, while WFRNG isn't even available for download yet. :P (In snake case, it's not finished)

Lol I didn't even realize that either. I forgot I still had all those random programs as well on the calc when making the screenshot, then after looking I saw the porno name X.x

Just enough room to hide a call to Program "Snake"  :P

Oh, I forgot to mention that the Prizm's graphics are actually better than that screenshot. There's very almost no noticeable dithering outside of pictures.
