The Program of the Year 2010 results are already available on Ticalc.org since yesterday (http://www.ticalc.org/archives/news/articles/14/147/147069.html).
-For the first time ever, there was a TI-81 survey, as there were two TI-81 features this year. Unity, which allows the execution of third-party ASM code on this ancient calculator lacking a link port, won over Illusiat TI-81 BASIC remake.
-In the 83/84+ category, Axe Parser language won by far. In second place came the revolutionary shell Doors CS 7. Far behind came Mimas, followed by several other great nominations.
-In the 68K categoy, this was a fiercer battle, as Pac Man 68K, which won, almost ended up in a tie with the new programming language NewProg.
-In the TI-Nspire category, Ndless won by far, followed far behind by gbc4nspire. Ndless made every nominated program possible.
In summary, 2010 was a very good year for notable calculator releases, with the second largest TI-83+ POTY ever and one of the largest amount of features in overall, and saw the emergence of TI-Nspire development. Congrats to all winners, but most importantly, for everyone for having been nominated!
The 2010 POTY survey results can be found here (http://www.ticalc.org/community/awards/poty/2010.html). Past years POTY results can be located here (http://www.ticalc.org/community/awards/), as well as the previous Playm... (http://www.ticalc.org/archives/news/articles/1/14/14996.html) er... Program of the Month award.

I was expecting this news here too :)
It was an interesting POTY for me, because it was the first one I had since I joined the community, perhaps I'll win one someday :)
-
That would be cool :D
I myself participated in 4 POTYs so far (2004, 2005, 2006 and 2010), but never won. I was happy to make it to the survey, though.

Congrats Quigibo! i voted for you but we (almost) all did (i think)
-
I did too, although I almost voted for Doors CS 7. For 68K I voted for New Prog but I also went close to vote for Pac Man 68K. Besides that I voted for Unity and Ndless. Seems like I went for new programming languages o.O
-
I voted for gbc4nspire in the nspire poty, but I missed the 83/84 one :(
-
Glad to see my two votes counted for a win in each. (Pacman and Axe) Great job Quigibo, well deserved in my opinion. Pretty great showing this year, I think there were quite a few voters this year as well. At least it seemed that way. Cant wait to see what next year's POTY brings!
