I am pleased to announce that my recently released music album called Tales of the Knight of the Moon is finally available on the iTunes, Amazon MP3 and Zune music stores! The iTunes album requires the application of the same name to be purchased, while the Amazon MP3, eMusic and Zune copies can be bought directly from your browser.

Because music distribution services and the stores they submit your music to won't let you choose your album price, this means that I had no control over how much my album costs on respective stores, unlike Bandcamp, so on some stores the album is actually more expensive than on my Bandcamp store. Here are the prices as of tonight:
-TotKotM on Amazon (http://www.amazon.com/Tales-Knight-Moon/dp/B006VWKMEA/ref=sr_shvl_album_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1326422686&sr=301-1) - $8.99/album, $0.99/song
-iTunes (http://itunes.apple.com/ca/album/tales-of-the-knight-of-the-moon/id494255160) (requires software (http://www.apple.com/itunes/download/)) - $9.90/album, $0.99/song.
-eMusic (requires account) (http://www.emusic.com/listen/#/album/dj-omnimaga/tales-of-the-knight-of-the-moon/13078774/:) - $4.90/album, $0.49/song
-Zune (http://social.zune.net/album/DJ-Omnimaga/Tales-of-the-Knight-of-the-Moon/5ae40f07-0100-11db-89ca-0019b92a3933/details#) - $9.99/album, $0.99/song.
-Google Music (USA-only) (https://market.android.com/details?id=artist-Attpcpyleetuawizmz3y6iv5o6y) - $9.49/album, $0.99/song.
-Bandcamp (http://djomnimaga.bandcamp.com/album/tales-of-the-knight-of-the-moon/) - $4.99/album, $0.79/song.
-Rhapsody (http://mp3.rhapsody.com/dj-omnimaga/53059408) -$9.99/album, $0.99/song.
This is mainly to increase the visibility of my music, as several artists submit their songs on popular stores like iTunes, but also give more options for people, if for example you were unable to buy it on Bandcamp. It might also make it easier for some people to buy the album or songs.
Enjoy!
UPDATE (Jan 21th 2012): The album is now available on Rhapsody too for $9.99. However, like Amazon and Google Music, it can be bought only by USA residents.

Well, that nice for the users of the aforementioned stores :D Was it a PITA to upload them there? (as advertised on iTunes, apparently)
Also that sucks you can't choose the price, eMusic and Bandcamp sells them for half the price of the other stores.

it is $9.49 on google music for the whole album and $0.99 per song.
and yay!

A PITA to find a decent music distributor (that won't take like 60% of your sales when itunes already takes some to begin with or charges $100 to put an album online), and a PITA to upload the songs for distribution (700 ish MB), but the rest went smoothly. I worried about getting asked for copyrights and proof that I made the music, like Youtube did when I tried to monetize (in vain) my videos, but finally no.
And yeah I wish I could choose the price, but again even if I did, they would have costed a bit more than Bandcamp on every store, because those stores takes between 30% and 40% off my sales, while Bandcamp only takes 15%.
My favorite store is Bandcamp because you don't need to go through a distributor to get your music there, you can choose your price, enable donation/minimum donation, add/remove bonus songs as you wish, and it's free to sign up. But the problem is that Bandcamp is still kinda new and far less popular as iTunes and Amazon.
Also thanks Geek for checking :)
EDIT: Thanks juju for finding the iTunes link. I didn't know it was available without the software.

I noticed you put it on iTunes. I decided to look for DJ Omnimaga on the store and found you. it was 8.90.€ iirc but that can be because it's euro.
-
Awesome! Do you know if it can be bought on Zune if I have the Zune Pass? If not I'll just ask my parents about getting it regularly.
-
I bet it's possible,but I'm unsure since I don't use Zune much.
-
I shall check when I get home! (Which will be in about 25 minutes)
EDIT: Yup! I just got it having the Zune Pass :D also, it says Xaminaga is the most played.

Success Dj_O ;) !

sweet. I really need to buy it on iTunes and make them into taptap songs. :o

Cool to hear. Thanks btw :D
As for Xaminaga I think I'm starting to know a bit why it's popular lately: It's probably due to its link with The Reign of Legends 3, since the song title is the name of the final boss, and some people probably played the game so the song picked their curiosity. Not to mention it's a remix of Journey Through the Moon Dark Side, which was quite popular if I remember.
@Yunhua98 what is taptap? ???
Btw I got told by someone that at some grocecy stores they sell prepaid credit cards and you can buy them even if you're not 18 yet. It just expires after the amount of money on it is depleted. That can be an option for those who wanted to buy it, but can't because they cannot have a Paypal or credit card. Also on AMazon there are gift cards, so those can be used, I think.
-
Yeah my mom paid my cellphone with a prepaid credit card, for some reason, this week. It's pretty useful when you need a credit card but don't want one. Sold at every convenience store I think.

Btw the album is currently sitting at the following positions in Bandcamp tag search (by popularity):
Metal: 607th (out of 53641) http://bandcamp.com/tag/metal
Symphonic metal: 8th (out of 429) http://bandcamp.com/tag/symphonic-metal
Melodic metal: 6th (out of 633) http://bandcamp.com/tag/melodic-metal
Power metal: 7th (out of 560) http://bandcamp.com/tag/power-metal
Heavy metal: 24th (out of 2994) http://bandcamp.com/tag/heavy-metal
Epic metal: 2nd (out of 90) http://bandcamp.com/tag/epic-metal
Speed metal: 48th (out of 286) http://bandcamp.com/tag/speed-metal
Symphonic: 29th (out of 1062) http://bandcamp.com/tag/symphonic
It's also in happy hardcore and such things since my profile has those tags assigned to all my uploads by default in addition to the extra tags but it's irrelevant. I need to add the above tags to my individual songs as well.
Btw ranking increases based on how many times each of my album songs are listened to on Bandcamp, because a few days ago there was a day where I got 50+ listens then a few days later I was ranked 4th in power metal. Not sure if page views and sales affect it, though.

It's finally on Rhapsody too! (ex-Napster) http://www.rhapsody.com/artist/dj-omnimaga
Album is $9.99 there too it seems, which seems to be the standard almost anywhere.
