Title: Using the TI-83 Plus/TI-84 Plus

KermMartian is at it again and is writing a new book, Using the TI-83 Plus/TI-84 Plus. The MEAP will go live tomorrow and will allow you to recieve chapters of the book as the author is completing them, then recieve a printed copy of the book. As the title suggests, this book will focus more on using your TI-83+ calc rather than programming it, so it will be more useful in helping with your math course than making games. The book will be completed and published in September 2013.

I'm not as much into the math side of calculator things anymore, but I might eventually get this one too. I reserved a copy of the first book immediately after it went on pre-sale.

Cool story bro

O.O

I should get one of these and throw it at my classmates.
None of them know how to use their calculators well :P

This is my life. Actually, I should order like 1000 and dump them at their houses... lol jk. But it still looks like a great book!

Somebody in my calculus class actually started programming his calc (ti 89 titanium) and he occasionly asks me questions. Next time i should tell him to come here >.>

It would definitively be nice if he joined, especially that some of us still has 68K calcs. Of course very few program it anymore,  though.

Thanks, everyone! I will particularly find all of your feedback handy during the MEAP process if you pre-order, as I would appreciate experts' thoughts on the math side of things.

Yup, he's a frequent Cemetech contributor. I've tapped him as one of the book's reviewers.

You are like a machine KermMartian! Where do you get all this energy?

Ranman tips his hat to Kerm once again.

I feel that the first chapter got cluttered up way too quickly; maybe that's something you might want to consider for the next few chapters? (Specifically, all the keys next to each other and the really tight spacing made it feel that way)

Why not just make a z80 math program instead? :P
I actually hardly used a z80 calc to do my math. My trusty Ti-89 does the trick. It's by the way,an amazing math-calc.

I guess I won't buy the book, since I use my Ti-89, which I just noted. But I do wish you good luck making it, and hope it helps a lot of people.
Oh yeah, hopefully it'll make you rich as well.

I do like math a lot actually. So if you'd just make a general math book one day, perhaps I would be tempted. :D
Anyway, good luck. Looks nice!
