A long-time Planète-Casio member who was working on a Casio BASIC Zelda clone for the FX-9750G series has decided to start working on a Prizm one in C recently and he posted a picture of the game, which uses The Minish Cap graphics, along with an early demo download (http://www.planet-casio.com/files/forums/ZELDA-67350.g3a).

A video I made is attached to this thread too. Video download link (http://www.omnimaga.org/index.php?action=dlattach;topic=12287.0;attach=11264)
It is in very early stages, as you can only grab jars and throw them away, along with rolling on the floor, although those are features that are quite rare in calculator-based Zelda projects. Hopefully the author won't give up on this huge undertaking. The discussion about the project is located there (http://www.planet-casio.com/Fr/forums/topic9620-1-Projet-Zelda.html), in French.

Wow that looks nice :D I'm looking forward to this!
-
*saint goes to buy a prizm calc to play this game when it comes out! O.O
-
Wow, if he finishes it that'll be a huge addition to the Prizm's software catalog! :D
-
I'm not really a fan of one-word/smilie posts, but...
:D
Also Zelda on the 9750G? 0.o Would that have worked on the 9750gii?
-
I hope someone will port this to older calcs! (Namely, FX-9860GII)
-
Well, FX-9750GII games works fine on the 9860GII so you should be fine playing the BASIC version that is in the works. Of course it would be nice if somebody made some sort of C version for it, though.
-
Yes! More games on the Prizm! :D

Weird it works fine for me. It might be due to your school or parental filter. ??? Also welcome to the forums :)

Yeah the issue right now is that he is grounded. I hope the free prizm assessment thing continues running after he returns, so he can give the questionaire a try.
-
Yay! It finally worked. :D
my computer can be slow sometimes. :P
-
Well, the file is located in Europe so this might explain it. I know sometimes it's a bit slow to download stuff there.
-
can't wait for it to come out in (at least) beta
