Then the basic people have an unfair advantage in that anything basic and impressive will be regarded higher than something that's ASM and impressive.

I would say a movie, because I can do that ^^ you can keep 130 pics easily on the calc, and 255 MAYBE

can it be done in ASM? the movie i mean.  I probably can't cuz I don't remember a majority of z80 ASM.  I could give it a shot though, but i definitely can't do it in basic because I've never really worked in basic XD

maybe we should create 2 sepreate catorgies for people who want to do basic and people who want to do ASM, though this will only work if enough people want to do it in ASM......

after that we get the best from each catorgies and can face them of for the final winner, or just have 2 winners

Perhaps, Ranman, saubue, Alex, me, and everyone else who programs with TIGCC can make 68k movies!

of course, only if people are interested.  I don't mind if it's basic only because I should probably be working on projects anyways.  And the basic ones will probably pwn cuz you guys are all amazing  :thumb:

guys, i never figured out if judges can enter the contest? anyways, i think that any language can be entered, maybe we should have (if the topic is a movie), the movie be entered in blind screenshot format, thus it would be impartial to the judges. Then, when the winner is decided, we can verify the screenshot with the appropriate program?

judges can't enter if they are going to be judges for that contest...so as long as it isn't programing contest you can enter if you are a judge.  And I don't believe any of the judges have any 68k calcs so...

hmm i think i will just judge this one and not make the movie, ill get pwned if i do with all of the excellent programmers out there.....

plus i don't have an idea of what i should make it....

is the movie in black and white or can it be grayscale, i peronally think that it should be in black and white so it would more fair but on the other hand.......

maybe we should take a poll on that 2

@liazon: yeah, xlibman is right about wat i mean. The entries could be just submitted as an animated gif, i mean itd still be pretty obvious to distinguish between 68K and z80, but it'd help even the level of programmin, whether ASM, BASIC, or C.About how many judges are there necro? and wat about time frame?
