some mentioned ideas:

+rpg involving gnomes
+game that has a famous person theme
+animation of a sad moment
+sprite of an angle
+game with over 20 enemies
+game that uses every button
+all graphics using only line commands
+sprite of 256 colours
+must feature no more than 3 weapons, items, ships, and enemies.
+must use no more than one line of xlib sprites and may not use any graphics except the sprite command
+all ascii graphics
+Sprite of a toilet
+sprite of an angle
+sprite of an animated monkey
+pirate shooter
+yoshi game
+bouncing ball game
+mini movie of a funeral scene or mourning
+"Using pure basic only makes always makes it challenging"
+"How about the contest being: must use xLIB, make a dungeon that has at least 10 rooms and X enemies. Something like that would be fun. Kinda like a remake of the dungeons in TOC (Sams zelda).."
+"A RPG (1-2 rooms) that focuses on character customization over all other aspects"

how about a mini movie on the calculator:
30 secs or longer (is this 2 long?)
with grahfics
MAX limit of 25 pictures
must have motion
must have a story line (does not matter how bad it is, it could be just a battle to the death, but atleast put people talking)
ummm thats all i came think of now.......

then they could write stuff down :lol: or better yet use sign language, lol a calculator movie with 2 mute guys using sign language

but iwas thinking like a short clip of LOTR but that might be a tad too difficult

a Zpic movie would be cool, I was thinking about xLIB but it run so fast you would get over 60 frames per seconds

with over 255 pics that would make a very huge program with all slow down stuff, unless all pics were recalled usign  a var and a loop o.o

true, unless you want some images to be displayed several times, but then I guess its more suitable to use a list :)

As long as the movie has an awesome plot, is rated X (for violence only ;)), and requires xlib.
