Would it be possible to show hostmasks in joins/parts/quits when someone joins OmniNet and we are on Efnet or vice-versa? It is getting hard to know who is who when people are using random nicks like Guest1827 and I often used hostmasks as reference. Of course hide them from OmnomIRC but I meant on IRC, it might be nice to know, like when someone joins the channel from the same network we are on.

I totally agree. I have to switch from OmniNet to EFNet and vice-versa to see the hostmasks.
-
Also some people cannot get on OmniNet at all or vice-versa :P
-
I think you were g-lined on OmniNet.
-
it be nice if this was enabled on omnomirc for just mods because i use omnom to monitor irc when im browsing and such
-
Ah yeah if for mods that would be good too.
-
Agreed too. I thought it was there before ???
-
I've never showed hostmasks, no. I actually don't have anything set up to track them right now, but I can probably get something set up.
-
The old Omnom actually showed them, but it fetched text directly from a log iframe. I think for Omnom they should be hidden, though, except maybe in full view.
-
Yeah, that's what I remembered. I like the idea of only showing them in full view, but wouldn't that involve managing two separate Omnoms?
-
Yeah true, unless it was setup via some sort of variables.
