I tried to run it on my Nspire, but it didn't seem to detect that Celtic III was installed... And when I tried deleting that part of the code, it still didn't work.

I guess I'll have to wait until calc84's 83+ emu becomes public...

As for PindurTI, theoretically you'd just have to unarchive the *.8xp files before sending them to the emulator, and switch them back to archive oncalc, since you can't send programs flagged as archive files.

Yeah I hate that about PTI x.x

@Silver: what OS did you use? I never had any issues with Celtic III on OS 2.54MP, it worked fine, but xLIB failed. Maybe the game uses stuff that doesn,t show fine in Celtic, though. I still need to try it.

Well, CelticIII installed fine, I even tested the real( functions.
So I guess it's just because the way AOC2 is written doesn't please CIII.

yeah, it may just be some compatibilities issues. I guess the only way is to use an older OS or an emulator and find a ROM

Does anyone know how to transfer Apps to TilEm [0.975] ?
I read you need to give a header or something?

Is there any proper 83+/84+[SE] emulator for windows that can [when you have added the required roms] receive files (both ram and archive) and take animated screenies out-of-the-box?

Wabbit is an excellent emulator!!
I made 11 animated gif Screenies, showing nearly every single feature of AOCII. DO you think it would be advisable to put them into the 1st post? Maybe I should select the best Screens...

[at this point, two posts were merged into one]

The new screenshots are in the first post.

p.s.
Happy Easter!

:O WOW! this is friggin awesome! A true turn-based strategy game for calcs. Those screesnhots really reminded me of stuff like advance wars and even Final Fantasy tactics. It's pretty true to other strategy games of that kind and gameplay seems pretty interesting. Awesome job and like always you stand among the best BASIC programmers on ticalc.org

When this is finished (or close) I am sure it will be featured on ticalc.org (I think somebody has to e-mail them, though, or contact them on IRC)

And happy easter to you too

I think a feature would be pretty mind-blowing...

Well, As for the next 14 days, my presence in omnimaga might decrease a lot, since I'm going back home tomorrow and I don't have a stable connection there, just a surf stick (for hsdpa). Secondly, school might also have an influence on progress [...]

However, if I develop something during this period, I probably won't be able to upload it before the 16th of April (or maybe even the 23rd of April) because of this problem.

Greetings, lolje

Aaah ok, will you still be able to post from time to time?  I guess if you can show up from time to time or at least be active in 14 days, it might guarantee your return as staff as well.

Anyway I hope you don't give up on this project. I was sad when it died 3 years ago :(

Aaaah ok, I thiought it was kinda halted for a few years, especially when you worked on the Voyage 200 version. I was certain you moved development to the v200.
