Title: Idea:Multiplayer only Bomberman
Post by: TsiJiang on May 18, 2006, 03:25:00 am
i suggest that someone could make a bomberman that was only multiplayer for ti calc. try to include most of the features of the bomberman series and may be a battle mode ai

i am not sure if the bomberman 83+ will be able to do the single player and multiplayer

Features to include (probably not all of them):
*all power ups
*charabum(Spelling)
*different types of bombermen (Bomberman Party Edition [PSX])
*special ablilities
*1 min stage collapse

the reason i only suggest it and dont make it myself?
I CANT PROGRAM DIDDY SQUAT. :(sad.gif

Well I think that katmaster is just going to make it AI, but I think that after that is completed he might work on doing multi player (just a speculation :Ptongue.gif). And atm someone is making a great linking program (one that is faster and more inficcent than that of the TI-OS), and tr1p1ea (the creator of xLIB, which katmaster uses in bomber man) might add the linking program to xLIB (which would make it faster than just using it as Asm() etc.).

Katmaster is making a bomberman game, but I dunno if he plans to have multiplayer, you should look into it anyway ;)wink.gif

Yeah, as of now, I don't plan on including multiplayer into Bomberman 83+. But this has been one of my biggest dreams to see an AWESOME multiplayer Bomberman on the 83+ series. I know one already exists and is pretty good (includes linking up to 4 players, 2 per calc, large number of power ups, good game speed) but lacks different level (just has one randomly generated one), enemy AI, or different game modes. This is something you'd PROBABLY want to do using ASM, which, at the moment, I don't know. It'd be really hard to do something like this in BASIC, even with xLIB. But it'd be cool if someone wanted to try to make it. I'd play it :)smile.gif
