Title: SFGP permanent coding contest
Post by: elfprince13 on December 15, 2006, 11:38:00 am
I have introduced a new standing competition that goes hand in hand with my tutorial series. Each tutorial will have several coding "assignments" to complete. If you wish you can submit your assignments to be judged based on the following criteria:

The first one in each section will probably be the longest as that lays the groundwork for the rest of the section. In this case it lays the groundwork for the rest of the tutorial. anyway

1) are my examples clear enough?
2) do you think more starting code on the second assignment is a good idea? (I think it would give away too much)
3) any qualms about my web design decisions?

Not to bash basic, but is there the possibility of a similar contest in ASM?

i think the contest is a side project to his BASIC tutorial. Maybe if he do an asm tutorial he could make an asm contest as well :)smile.gif

if you would like to know about clarity from someone who is not an ungodly uber BASIC programmer,  i think its fine as well

exactly......which I should really work on.

@dinho: what exactly is unclear? (so I can fix it) I spent a lot of time trying to make that as unconvoluted as possible. the concepts aren't exactly simple, but the wording/phraseology should be.

[edit]

:(sad.gif I still haven't received entries for either of the first two assignments, or the global optimization challenge......
