I posted this on the old maxcoderz forum but unfortunately its gone but I am wondering if this would be a cool game for the calc? Or maybe something like Zelda Adventure of Link but more RPG-ish

Wow, a 2D RPG? Believe it or not, I was just thinking about this possibility a couple of days ago. That would be nice to see done for a calc. :)

On a side note, one reason why I like calculator games so much is because I'm sick and tired of all the over-done 3D mammoths out there. All those games lost their heart and old-school entertainment value. Where are the 2D platform scrollers? Where are the Birds-eye-view RPG's? Sigh, nostalgia. :(

yeah it is, but I think this pic isnt from Ys 3 (SNES version), but the pics in the SNES games are really cool, almost like mangas

And people still wonder if colour screens for calcs are a good idea or not...

Yeah actually there is calc with colors, but they are slower and it doesnt look very good. Maybe they will make some in the future but it will be mos tlikely pocket PCs O_O
