Title: An Illusiat zip file from back in 2003
Post by: DJ Omnimaga on April 25, 2009, 12:23:52 am
Wow I didn,t knew Calc.org still hosted this

http://www.calc.org/program/3013

This is the first zip file of Illusiat 1 I ever uploaded anywhere. It was never updated since I uploaded it on November 2003, since calc.org never approved it until it went back up somehow in 2007. The readme was even in french back then and it's even more complete than the english one (altough still not that complete). The group file is from more than 6 years ago and the rest of the content is from 5.5 years ago.

Uploading zip file into post in case calc.org ever took it down

Oh it's not that. The problem is that back in the days, when you uploaded your own files to calc.org, you needed a friend to send them permission to upload the file. This was the weirdest upload process I ever seen on any TI site.

That submit is legendary. The first illusiat in 2003 only uploaded in 2007. The new calc.org design is looking good.

You seem so nice in French. :P I understood 99% of the words, mainly because it uses vocabulary that I expect in a readme of a game like that.

Another language makes people sound very different. I wonder what I could learn from just playing French games. Will I end up know French with Canadian vocabulary? xD

Oh it's because french is my native language ^^

I doubt I'll translate Illusiat 13 in french though, there are so many text in that game (just the 30% that is complete so far contains 2x more text than Illusiat 12 as a whole), plus memory might become an issue
