Sorry if this is in the wrong section! :P
ANYWAYS! So I'm completely bored and I was wondering (to all those people who have played the rpg's on this site or ticalc) which Rpg is the best? I need something to play!
Any suggestions?
edit: that is a ti84+ calc rpg
-
It depends on which calc you're looking for ok saw your edit
Illusiat was created by DJ_O years ago. Still one of the best series of RPGs for ti-84
-
ok i'll check that one out :)
edit: ok I just download Illusiat 3 and 5, (they seemed the best lol), Any other suggestions?
-
I didn't played a lot of RPGs on the 83+ yet, but I think the Illusiat series seems the best.

The Verdante Forest RPG.
http://www.ticalc.org/archives/files/fileinfo/347/34799.html
It's pretty good :) although battles are hard cuz the monster level progresses as your level progresses so there is never an "easy monster"
-
It's not omni-specific, but Desolate (http://www.ticalc.org/archives/files/fileinfo/331/33153.html) is pretty epic (albeit short).
-
OK thanks! and I already played desolate and loved it :) And the rpg's don't need to be omni specific, just calc specific

I loved this game so much! :D
You should really try it :w00t:

for some reason I keep getting a 'access denied' message everytime I try to transfer it! :banghead:
edit: ok it worked now! but I kinda wish the chapters were in like an appsvar, I like my programs list nice and clean! lol
-
which one? D:
-
check My edit, and verdante
-
Oh :P
It requires a heck load of memory cause its divided into 7 chapters :D
-
Yeah :P, Any other suggestions? (if you haven't noticed I'm really this bored lol )

Illusiat 8,11,12,13 and The Reign of Legends 2. ROL1 isn't bad either, and neither is ROL3, but ROL3 is slow. It's a good game, but it can get annoying after a while. I would only recommend playing ROL3 on an TI-83+SE/TI-84+SE or TI-84+BE, because the TI-83+BE (Black Edition) is just too slow.
-
Apparantly DJ_O liked this one: http://www.ticalc.org/archives/files/fileinfo/171/17161.html
And it has quite a high rating on ticalc too.
I personally haven't tried it though.

Joltima is good game but it doesn't work on 84 serires if I remember. D:

The link Stefan posted leads to a zip that includes .8xp progs, so I think the 84 series can handle it ;).
But yeah, it is written that it is a port from a TI 83 game, so I think it didn't work on 84 series at first.
-
I think Desolate is a very fun rpg
-
I personally liked FFTOM2, despite all the glitches.

I think http://www.ticalc.org/archives/files/fileinfo/347/34799.html (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dQw4w9WgXcQ) is great

Oh my god. GEMA saved me. This is the first time that this institution (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Gesellschaft_f%C3%BCr_musikalische_Auff%C3%BChrungs-_und_mechanische_Vervielf%C3%A4ltigungsrechte) is helpful... haha.

WHy is the previous link a rickroll? ???
Also yeah I agree sometimes companies can be annoying. My nDoom calc video is blocked in Belgium O.O
