Sort of cheap for something you seem to have put a lot of effort into.
Sadly thats been my experiance with handmade crafts  :/
Plus the fact it's a calculator, although I'm surprised since TI calcs sell very fast on Ebay normally. Maybe most people who buy them just buy them for school and don't care about fancy stuff. I'm betting that people will bid at the last minute, though.

EDIT: Question: What ROM does it use? I have a 82 with ROM 16.0 that can barely run anything because most programs were made for ROM 19.0 and 19.0006 >.<

I wonder what would the price be if you made a TI-81 one.

What would happen if you dropped it (as I do to my TI-83+ at least once everyday on accident)

Thanks for the compliments.  :)

I saw the video and this thing looks nicer than a regular 82. I especially like how you made the keys like a ti83+/84.

Great job ! :D The original 82 is ugly imo, and you fixed that.

I agree, I think the TI-83-esque makeover is an improvement!

Shut up and take my money! :P
Well, assuming the auction doesn't go up to $1000 or something and/or that I win. I always wondered if you would ever produce multiple copies of this or put the first to auction one day :D

I remember seeing this over at Cemetech. It's really a beauty. I'm actually kind of surprised that you're selling it. I've got it on the watch list for now. ;)

Thanks for bidding/watching! Yeah, it'd be cool for me to keep it forever, but I know there are other in the community who would enjoy owning it, while I have the ability make a new one, plus I bought a mess of 8 Dell D620 laptops and am now broke, so I hope to raise funds to repair them.

So true. But it depends on how I look at it: in one way, I paid $15 for this and am selling it for possibly $50; a $35 profit, which is decent. On the other hand I put 34 hours of work into it, making my wage about $1 an hour, not so good. :) So depends on how I look at it.

Actually it has 18.0!  :/ So not 19.0, but I have tested and ran CrASH, zTris, Penguins, and some other stuff with no trouble.

Well, while I wouldn't say it's lighter than a normal 82, it's still pretty light, because maple is light. Also, if you dropped it it'd probably do pretty well - maple is quite tough and strong. I like it. Though I wouldn't recommend dropping it over 2 feet to a hard surface. Oh, and some hot-glued components inside might come apart
You should know, I am a Christian.

the 81 is much cheaper than the 82 on Ebay, but since it's the first TI calc, it would most likely have a bigger interest from the TI community, nostalgia-wise more than coding-wise.

Isn't wood glue only meant for wood?
