Post by: northern_snow on October 03, 2013, 11:54:50 pm
Nbzwt (Zweb on omnimaga) recently works on the ArithMax EV2, a DIY calculator based on hi-performance STM32F2 microcontrolle.

So many DIY calculators appeared, but most of them have no keyboard, let alone going into mass production.

But this time, things are different! ArithMax will have a keyboard, and we have a plan to put it into production!

Yeah true. It would definitively be nice if he pulled this off, though.

The keyboard says external 8x8 keyboard matrix, or an i2c/spi keyboard.

Although it looks interesting, it's somewhat annoying that most of the available web links are in chinese. Most of us are non-chinese readers and take it as a nonstarter (losing interest very quickly) what's a real shame.

I suppose this topic was the first attempt to introduce it to the english community :) Beside that the github repo seems the be in English.

Interesting project, it seems to be already pretty advanced. I wish the best of luck with it!
