What was probably the biggest United-TI hit (and one of the best BASIC game) has finally been featured on ticalc.org, 5.5 years after many requests to get it featured:

Late congrats to the author and nice job to our new ticalc.org news editors!
For the nostalgics, the old project sub-forum can be found there:

O.O that has to be the most delayed feature on ticalc to date :P
I'm glad it got featured though. Contra is a true pure-BASIC masterpiece.
-
Nice. This is definitely going on my "games to play" list :D
It looks awesome, especially given the language.
Edit: 900th post!
-
Yeah, this is the best TI-BASIC game I have ever seen.
42nd post. ;)

Not really. I think Laser Tank does, according to the file ID. Otherwise, maybe it's FFTOM2, which took 8 years.

Wow! Congrats on the feature finally! Never could get too far in that game though. :(
-
Too bad it came so late. The author's given up calc programming already D:
So no Contra II :(
-
Yeah, and no Contra 1 level editor :(
-
Maybe I will figure out how the levels are saved and make one myself ;D
-
Lol that would be cool. Or maybe you could make a level editor ;D
-
Yeah thats what i meant :P
-
Oh ok I misread. I thought you just meant levels, not editor :P
-
Haha well either way, i just realized, i might also have to release a hacked version of Contra itself since it doesn't actually support custom levels. D:
-
Ouch x.x
Well good luck if you do this :P
Finish Serenity and Portal first, tho :P
