So I have a webshow called Eee Zor in the works (channel here (http://www.ustream.tv/channel/eeems)) and I'm planning on starting to make it into a regular thing and with more of a focus. Eee Zor is going to become the new's show of the calc community along with a few other things :D
My first episode of this will be tomorrow sometime in the day, so watch my twitter (http://twitter.com/eeems_) and this topic. This episode will include a few quick looks at a few releases out currently, a how to when it comes to wabbitemu and maybe something more from SirCmpwn ;P

Nice idea! Just make sure it won't overlap with Raylin too often since it might be hard to watch/listen to two shows at once :P
I think a while ago this was suggested in #TI or #cemetech during a BrandonW livestream, but it never went further than discussions.
Just make sure to use a good mic so we hear you better than the KOS video x.x

oh, I guess I compressed it too much :P or your archiver can't handle ultra compression using lzma, I'll just send the normal file.

I actually use Winrar. I guess it only supports older formats or I got an outdated version.

ah ok, well I use 7zip, so that is most likely what the issue was.

Ok I got the wmv and it works fine. However, you might want to convert gifs to AVI with VirtualDub (and make sure the framerate is setup right) prior loading them in Movie Maker because they slow down a lot, otherwise. In your vid, screenshots runs at like 30% their original speed :(

For some reasons I kinda have an idea of what might have happened, but I hope it is not what I think... it would suck a lot. On the other hand, I hope it is not something even worse than what I think, though.

Strange, SirCmpwn was online the other day... maybe he did not have time to check his inbox or something. You might want to remind him, although if he got grounded again it might take a while x.x
Also, I saw on Facebook the other night, but your message dissapeared (although on your Twitter account it still said it). TO be fair, I kinda feared it was that since the start, though :( (no one told me anything, but from your FB and forum messages, and knowing other people that dealt with the same thing in the past few years, it immediately made me guess what happened. I'M here if you need to talk, although I recommend warning me via PM in case because I tend to avoid MSN/Skype/Yahoo as much as possible)

Yeah, I saw your message and status change yesterday, then a few minutes later, it no longer showed up. Another person reported this issue as well. Chrome and Opera, btw. Maybe Facebook glitched up, because sometimes status updates won't show up in the right order for me there.
And I'M glad you are getting lot of support right now. When I started guessing what happened I started feeling bad for you and hoped everything would be ok.

Usually I didn't have a lot of people to help me IRL, but there was my mom that helped a whole lot in many situations. The issue, though, is that when I have problems, they all happen at once x.x. For some reasons, my mom had this happens a lot, too.

This will be recorded for viewing in your leisure time, but it will be aired live :)
This will be kind of conference, we will have both of us able to talk at the same time, and you guys can comment in a text-chat room while watching :)

With every other show or live recordings, for example BrandonW and Raylin, people claimed it would be recorded or was currently recorded too. I have yet to see any AVI, WMV, MP4 or MPEG download of these shows...

Well this is ustream, so it records as you air it, and then you can view it online, and there is a ustream app for the iTouch/iPhone. I'm sure you could also download the flash and convert it.

It's not downloaded, it's viewing online, like youtube.
It should be on the list on the bottom, let me screenshot it for you.
EDIT: ok, here it is, as you can see the video is on my channel. I pre-recorded stuff but I talked about it live and recorded it.

Ooh ok I understand now. BrandonW put some vids on his Ustream. However, they were only a few seconds long so I don't know if Ustream records the entire thing.

Yeah maybe. In any case, try to run some tests first, lol. I could always record using hypercam or something if I am around but I cannot guarantee anything since there's lag, sometimes.

I can do it any time between 3:00pm and 7:00 (with a few exceptions), or on Wenesdays after 2:30pm whenever, or on Sunday mornings, or Saturday evenings. Mountain Standard Time on all of those.

Hmm, how about today? I think I'm good enough and I have lots of time today. Let me know if it works out :)
Also, we should go through a test run before hand, so like a 20 minute getting ready before actually airing...
So I'm thinking we should start at around 3:20 PM Mountain Standard Time (I'm trying to remember if that is my timezone or one off, I think it is though).
Let me know if that works and I'll announce on twitter and IRC if we do end up airing :)

Mhmm today sounds like a good idea. Unless my mom calls at that hour (which I doubt since it's dinner time but we never know lately x.x) I should arrive when it starts. Hope things goes well. Btw you should also announce it on Cemetech too so there are more people checking it out. :D

Sorry to hear again. Not to be rude, thought, but wouldn't it be better to just make it not live instead? Because it is starting to be like Duke Nukem Forever :/ (released soon, postponed, released soon, postponed again, revived, postponed til further notice, revived, etc). Personally if I'm around when it airs, then good, I may watch it, but otherwise, I'll just watch it afterward like I did with some of the jBOS videos, because it is really frustrating to not plan anything for a specific time of the day because Eee Zor might air, only to get told later that it won't air.. :/
What is the reason why it is not airing now, though? Did sir got grounded or something?

hmm, I must have posted too late...it forgot my post.
As I said, it has to be live, ustream requires it live, and that's how me and Sir are going to do it :P otherwise we can't really do it together.
I said it might be yesterday, but I didn't know if Sir could do it, that's why I said it might be then.
Sir was too busy to do it, but he said he should be free today, and I might be also, so we will see how it goes.
I know it's frustrating, but I didn't really have any say in what happened...

Yeah there's no way to disable the board for admins so admins never got to see we moved until DNS updated at their ISP unless they logged out, so all posts made after the move were lost (although there were only 2 posts).
I see. Hopefully you can do it at one point but if there are stuff I planned at one point I'm not gonna cancel my plans for Eee Zor again anymore, since it has bigger chances of not occuring, so I may not necessarly be around when it airs. Good luck whatever happens.

Wow eeems I like that logo even better. You should maybe make the black a bit more transparent and maybe more blurry so it looks even more real.

Just tricked window's 7 to let me use an old webcam, sound doesn't work, but I can record video's with it :D

Still no date set for doing this, but I'm thinking I could do it soon, I still need to wait for SirCmpwn to let me know when is good for him.

yeah that's something I can't fix yet, I need a gif to avi converter... Or something.

I just open my gifs in virtual dub and if they run slower I adjust them. Sometimes they'll run at 24.5 FPS and I set them to 27. Then I export to uncompressed AVI then import the AVI in Windows Movie Maker.

Over here all teachers kept saying GIF so we got used to it. I didn't knew it was jiff either lol. As for RS it would be nice in the future if every updates were posted there indeed.
