I was wondering if any of you has attempted or managed to hardware hacking the NSpire.
My question being, we can use Ndless to make it able to run Assembly programs, can we reach the same goal by opening it or something similar to hardware hacking?

Huh.... ***BUMP***

I don't think so.
I find it to be a waste of time to tell you the truth. (not trying to be mean)
The problem is that here, in the community, we try to make everyone happy and not just the few people manage such a thing.
If it were as easy as switching the keyboard, I would love that. I just don't see it being cost efficient (especially with people physically bricking their calc)

Yeah true, plus it would be useless now that we got Ndless.

Hum, I didn't ask anyone to try or even suggested, just asked if it was possible or if it had even been done.
@DJ: We got Ndless, but what if making Ndless for the CX takes too long? Knowing if this was possible could help us start programming in colours right away :)

Oh ok, sorry I misunderstood your post. I guess it could be a temporary solution until Ndless CX is done if it looks like it could be an hard task, so people can at least examine the memory content and hardware and maybe even start coding programs before Ndless CX comes out :P (like what happened with gbc4nspire)

Exactly, but I also can't see any obvious way to open a nspire and hack it :S
