Title: I'm Back
Post by: SirCmpwn on December 26, 2010, 06:42:53 pm
Hello,
I have negotiated the return of my phone.  I will be allowed computer usage in a week, 84+ in two, and Nspire in three.  Because I'm browsing here on limited 3G, would someone be kind enough to give me a rundown of what I missed so I dont spend bandwidth browsing all the old posts?
Thanks!

Axe just got updated to 0.4.7.
We started getting some info on the Prizm. (I've got a dump of some binaries)

Oh and glad to see you're back. :)

Glad to see you.
Also, DJ Omnimaga has temporarily stepped down from his position as admin - he is taking a break and is a normal user for now.

Let's see:

1) DJ temporarily resigned as Admin

2) We learned how to cook Netham45

3) We attracted multiple new members, such as Kucalc and Z80man.

4) Discussion about the Prizm has been the main activity, from what I've seen.

Welcome back :)

Thanks for the warm welcome, and sorry to hear about you're struggles, DJ.  Great to hear about Axe, and welcome to all our new users.  Any cool projects?
Also, does cemetech have a mobile version?

True I noticed quite a bit of new faces around here lately. Activity was lower but there are more projects in the works. @Qwerty.55 Kucalc is a retired Casio programmer. He quit a few years ago but he still frequents Casiocalc and Omni every few month, when he is not busy.

I think Cemetech has a mobile version but you need to select the Cemetech6m theme in your profile. (Idk if it's finished, though)

As for cool projects it's hard to tell because there are so many O.O

Yeah I plan to return to admin after new year, although it is only because I want to post news. :P Eventually I might start a 3rd staff group called News editor/File archiver. :P It will also depend how things goes, since they haven't been going too well, and how busy I'll be in short terms.

One bad news regarding Casio stuff is that the main Casio community hub seems to have turned into Nspire Google Group but for Casio calcs. Most people seems against calc games now. Result: The Prizm draws more attention on Cemetech and Omni than on Casiocalc.org. ???

Well, you be the judge :D Iambian is redoing some of Escheron, which should be well worth it.  Also, I've been getting some good reviews and "looking-forward-to"s on Correlation

Woah I didn't notice that section. I wonder why don't they add an arabic, spanish, dutch and french one, considering several Casio people are from countries where they speak these languages.

I was aware that he was a Casio programmer, but I obviously didn't notice that he was an old Omni member.

I think he was member on the original Omni board, but I'm not sure anymore. He still frequents those sites from time to time, but he posts like once per month on Casiocalc. I don't know if he's still even admin anymore.

Welcome back! More unoffical Ndless updates recently too. Touchpad hack for 2.0 IIRC.
