I AM SO EXCITED!!! ;D :D  :evillaugh:  :w00t:  ^-^
I just got a TI-Nspire Touchpad. I am so crazy and excited right now!!! :w00t: :w00t: :w00t: :w00t:
I'n not sure what OS it is, but the boot1 image is 1.1, and the boot2 is 1.4. Is this the OS version?
-
I'm not sure. How do you find the boot 1 number?
-
I went to Home > Settings & Status > Status > About
-
Nice. Make sure to not upgrade to OS 3.0.2, so you can downgrade and use Ndless again later.
-
So my OS is .... what?
When I go to Settings > Status I see "Version: 2.0.0.1188". Is this my OS? Or is it 1.1? Or 1.4?
-
Ah right, you should upgrade to 2.0.1 or 2.1.0. 2.0.0 is extremly dangerous and it doesn't support Ndless.
-
How is it dangerous?
-
OS 2.0.0 bricked Mic's (from TI-BANK) calc when it was released back in the day.
Also, you need to add an option in the poll for those who have a clickpad and CX ;D

D: Orly? That's bad! I'm not turning on my nspire until I can upgrade it then!

I thought I did....?

2.0.0 has a bug similar to OS 3.0.1. I don't know if that happens when we remove TNOC, though, and it occurs via USB, if I remember.
-
Two questions - is 2.1 still available for download? and where can I get the 84+ keypad? It's supposed to be free...and I registered my TI-Nspire
-
Yes, OS 2.1.0.631 can still be downloaded from e.g. TI-Bank (which references TI's site directly).
-
Spyro, you need to register on eduction.ti.com, fill in some forms and they will send you the keypad.
-
Great to hear Spyro. Congratulations. I'm too getting a(second hand) Ti-**. Guess...
-
Spyro543: you posted on #omnimaga
got my Nspire updated to 2.1.1
This version, which doesn't seem to bring any new feature (only a more annoying PTT mode), is not supported by Ndless ;)

What OS version lets me do 3D stuff?

I did. I also registered my Nspire. There are no other forms to fill in.

3.0.1 and 3.0.2, but these do not allow you to use Ndless. Also, do not update to 3.0.1 without using TNOC, and do not update to 3.0.2!

3.0 and up (also Lua support)

Where can I get TNOC and how do I use it?
