That USB soundcard would be quite nice, but then you have to think about battery draw. That's the biggest disadvantage (besides writing drivers) for even using the OTG port, assuming it's possible. But even still, that would be quite awesome to get some sound out of this thing. :P

Mhmm I just checked this sound card pic carefully and the USB end is the large one. It would not even fit in the TI-Nspire USB link port

yeah that could maybe work :P

I wonder how high it would be to ship all this to Canada, considering on Ebay I sometimes get charged $40 for shipping a small item x.x

Probably another $10 or so. They're based in china anyways, so they might not even charge more, but it would probably still take longer.

I think we should make an external battery. Anyone know what that port on the back of the nspire is, with the spring cover?

It would be really cool if TI would release an external battery for the Nspire or something we can recharge in the same way as the PSP or DS, that we can use while recharging.

Well they're coming out with rechargeable batteries for the new Nspires that still go behind the keypad iirc. I don't know how much longer it lasts than the standard 4 AAA's, though.

Aaah ok, I hope they're not too expensive and won't take too long to recharge. Now if only it was for the old Nspires x.x

I guess it's a strategy for them to make us buy new Nspires :P
