Title: Should I get a TI-92/200

I know someone who might be willing to sell me a TI calculator with a QWERTY keyboard, but they are not sure weather it is a 92 or a 200. I am thinking of buying it so that i can say i have one, but i already have the TI-nspire CX CAS and i do not know if it is worth it. Any suggestions? another unrelated question, is anyone thinking of making a web browser for the CX using the TI navigator wifi attachment? that would be really cool.

The main reason to buy TI-68k calculators is their programmability, much higher than that of the Nspire series :) From that point of view, Nspires have always sucked, and they will keep sucking until TI opens up unrestricted access to native code (C/C++/ASM, etc.) programming and provides heaps of documentation.
As far as math abilities are concerned: the CAS in the Nspire series is still largely the same old code base as 15 years ago. The Nspire's processor is faster, so it tends to execute computations faster - but the math abilities of the Nspire's CAS are hardly better than the abilities of the TI-68k series' CAS.
But as you already have a CX CAS, i.e. TI's newest model, the incentive to buy a TI-68k is significantly reduced, indeed ;)

If you get a 68K calc, please keep your other calculator too. The 68K is very nice for games and programming, but almost nobody use them in the TI community anymore, so if you start making games for it, almost nobody will reply to your topics nor download them. :( However if you don't plan to sell your other models, it's a good idea to get a 68K too. Make sure to get a TI-89, 89T, 92+ or v200, though, not a 92. The old 92 with no Flash memory cannot run any 89/92+/v200-compatible games.
However they're really much better for programming in the way that TI-BASIC is not as limited (and is better than 83+ BASIC for some stuff) and you don't need stuff like Ndless to run ASM/C programs. Also 68K calcs are already much more documented than TI-Nspires for programming. There's no Lua I think, though.

There is an old TI-68k implementation of Lua, but I don't think it ever got much in the way of publicity, and therefore it never got the success it might have deserved :)

If it's a TI 92+ or a vaoyage 200, and the price is right I'd say go for it. They are both very nice calcs! =)

Anyone want to say anything about a web browser for the nspire? I know they made a web browser for the 84 that had to be plugged into a computer with internet. It would be really cool if there as one made for the nspire that need no computer.

i think a web browser would be the best thing ever for the nspire CX with its color screen and good fps rate.

If some would reverse engineer the Nspire wifi dongle (that means the person has to have one), you could make a browser using Ndless. But the dongle's are very expensive and hardly anyone here has the time to do something like this. If the USB protocol was figured out, using normal wifi dongles might work. But then again extremely much work must be put in it.
Unless there is someone willing to spend hours and hours on this, there is not much chance that it will happen :(

I'm going to have to agree with Jim 100%. He is absolutely correct on all points. Although it would be cool, it doesn't seem very likely (for the reasons detailed above).
