I'm unsure yet, I have no plan for further calculator programming after the grayscale kit is done. Also you gotta change your sig considering it's really huge x.x

is there a walkthrough available for the game? i get into the dungeon and then run out of keys and cant find anymore.
i have scoured every reachable part of the dugeon and am on a last stand and deciding to make a map of the dungeon and over world in case i missed anything, but i am pretty sure the is either a glitch or i wasted a key or two

mhmm there are no keys in Zelda Dark Link Quest O.O

do you mean Zelda: Test Of Courage? (the ASM game)

IIRC this one had an error causing you to run out of keys and no longer be able to progress anymore if you used them on a door you shouldn't have to. Unfortunately I wouldn't be able to help much because I haven't played this game in like 7 years X.X

It appears you have triggered the error and probably will need to re-start.

well someone would need to write on, I don't plan on it tho since I don't have much time and I wouldn't see the point to make a walkthrough for a game with only one dungeon and boss anyway

but its almost a law that every zelda game has a walkthrough even a one dungoen/boss game, if it includes link, zelda, ganon, or any other dominant characters in zelda, it has to have a walkthrough. the dark link quest has a walkthrough, so why not the test of courage?

You want a walkthrough, you make a walkthrough.  We're not your private team of servants here to do your bidding.

I'm not quite sure if you're old enough to remember this, but there used to be a time before cheatplanet, before cheatcc, and before gameFAQs when people would keep playing and tried to figure out what to do if they got stuck (it was a dark, dark time.  I still have nightmares!).  It's a barbaric practice, I know, but I think that's what you'll have to turn to :o.

Also, in most cases a calculator (programmer's) forum isn't the best place to find walkthroughs.  We make games.  This means we know how to search through the code to find the part responsible for saving/loading data.  This means we know where the save data is located and how it is stored.  This means if we get stuck we can magically un-stick ourselves :D

Skuller972, stop being arrogant and being a prick, this is your final warning. If you want a calculator game walkthrough, you beat the game yourself and make one. Programmers are not paid to make these calculator games and they have a life besides calculator programming, not to mention it's not up to the authors to decide if they want to spoil the entire game with walkthroughs or not. I did it with Zelda DLQ because I felt like it at the time and the game was rather short, but if the author doesn't it doesn't mean everyone else are forced to make one because you requested so. As people said, here most people create calculator games. This doesn't mean they are necessarly interested nor forced to write walkthroughs. You can ask for help about a game you're stuck in, then if somebody played the game and remember, maybe he can be able to help. Else, you gotta search more.

And well put simplethinker. There used to be a time where you had to pay 20 bucks to get strategy on one single game (or very limited strategies for a bunch of random games), done by buying the strategy guide at a store. This was the only way to do it, besides asking friends who played the same game. There was no internet and even when the internet came out strategy sites were still not very developped and hard to find. My bro still got Secret Of Mana strategy guide from 1993 and aside from the 20 pages in the center containing some game maps and other goodies, the entire guide is in black and white.

If you continue acting like this on forums Skuller972, you're not going to be liked and may even end up getting your ass banned one day. This is getting annoying.

i apologize, to you and to everyone. i never foresaw that when i would have pleaded for a walkthrough others would have been annoyed and irked, i was being egotistic and overlooking the fact that everyone isnt superman, and for that i am sorry. if you all feel this way, i will be a less active member of the forum, only commenting, not requesting. i hope this never happens again.

nah you don't need to be less active, just understand that everyone here and the entire TI calculator community are volunteers  who does programs or contribute simply because they enjoy doing so and in some cases even devote money to the TI community (such as me, since I pay for the omnimaga.org hosting bill and domain name)

I personally used to beg for games and programs myself when I started posting on forums in 2003 and learned the hard way (with people calling me names and making fun of me) that other people didn't like it on forums x.x

ok sorry i guess being threatened to be banned is just a way of omnimaga's members' way saying:
"welcome to our forums dont be a jackass"

You don't need to do that.  Some of your comments were starting to get annoying and you didn't seem to be letting up at all.  When someone first joins an online community it's hard to tell what's appropriate from what crosses a line (I still shudder when I think of what I did to people when I first joined a forum :o), and the only way any of us can learn where that line is is from participating and getting to know everyone else :)  We recently had a bad experience with a former member who never cared where that line was and so many of us are on edge.

Feel free to PM any of the staff if you have any questions or concerns ;D

ok thanks, now i feel more at home since ive settled out all the diffuculties that newbies accept by clicking the "i agree to the terms of sercive" button.
Now i  know what that button really means.

EDIT: HOLY CRAP!!!! I JUST NOTICED THAT MY REPUTATION WAS NEGATIVE FOUR!!!!!!

Actually I said "one day" about the banning, meaning no defined time. Metagross111 took half a year (altough it would have been much sooner if some other staff had admins powers). We welcome everyone on the forums, but as with every single forums on the web there are rules (or sort of) and are different from a site to another (altough generally similar). For example are more lax on randomness, especially on IRC, but there are of course limits lol (i mean if all posts by someone are just plain spam or he doesn't know where to stop), and we are less lax on purposeful attacks or the like. Our rules are located at http://www.omnimaga.org/index.php?action=ezportal;sa=page;p=2 (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oHg5SJYRHA0). I'm unsure if the ones that shows up when peopel sign up are up to date, though, plus, very very few people actually read those since most of the time sites just use the default USA-related legal stuff which is 50 pages long and the same on every site

As for reputation points, they often vary depending of someone's latest posts/actions since people can rate someone every hour. Galandros went back and forth from -1 to 1 all the time and some people that were -10 went back to like 5 or 6. I think Metagross dropped to -12 or something lol. Not that they really mean a lot, though, because 4 months ago someone wanted to have fun raising my rep to 50 on purpose and I wouldn't be surprised if someone did that again in the future, not to mention that the buttons are small so people accidentally rate down someone instead of rating him up or vice versa. I wish there was more of an individual post rating system like on youtube

uhm, actually he used to be a member, he had 600 posts i think. However, his permaban leaded to his account deletion, but deleting an account won,t delete the posts unless I choose the option. Omnimaga used to allow guest posting until the spambot invasion, then we had to disable registrations completly until we found a way to block their advertisments. Now the board system we use is more secure, though, so they can't even register at all. Obviously, it's easy for someone to go around bans, but they eventually give up registering new accounts again and again since at that time we can simply increase security to slow them down. So far, metagross didn't ban evade, though, except on IRC, where I had to disable private messenging completly on my IRC client because he evaded my ignore list too (I had 9 ignores on him until I gave up and setup a wildcard as ignore)

actually he wasn't THAT bad lol :P. He didn't joined the forums to deliberately cause trouble like some people did in the past on IRC, but he was an ass in general and when it came to warnings he claimed he never did anything wrong and tried to shift every blames put on him towards me instead. SOme of his posts were rather offensive. He usually didn't intentionally was offensive but he didn,t do any effort to not be and clearly stated he did not care about how we felt. He also became worse and worse with the time, especially towards me. It was clear he didn't like me, Netham45 and Noahbaby from the start. His attidude is what got him banned. Some people in the past joined IRC (and forums) mostly to cause trouble. So basically Metagross111 was rude and the other troublemakers were trolls.

well usually, I prefer to do remakes of them to be honest, else, make new stuff. An xLIB  Zelda might be cool, though, but seeing there's an even better ASM one coming along I would rather prefer to make a Zelda-like game that is not Zelda, like Ys or maybe Super Star Hero 83+

Yeah, and when you make something original (well from scratch anyway) then you can do what you want and also there is no competitiveness involved ;P

I could always go with ssh, since I don't know how picky Falcom are on copyright issues. I know Parker Brothers is overkill with them, since they sued ticalc.org for Monopoly in the past, IIRC, or something similar

yeah he visited #omnimaga back this summer, I think I might have brought this up. He wasn't too scared, though, since it was back in 1999 when this happened. Maybe the company might have changed their mind (I hope, considering it's just a calculator game)
