Title: TI-Nspire Mouse--Why not on Clickpads?
Post by: GB on April 03, 2011, 03:03:10 pm
This has always puzzled me. On newer operating systems (2.x), you can move the mouse anywhere on the screen. But on the original Click Pad models, you can't.

This has always frustrated me because in System 2.x, you have to hold the mouse over the top of the screen in order to see what mode(s) it is in. I can't do that with the clickpad.

I have recently been reading on here about people patching the TI-Nspire OS to do things, and I wonder if patching it to have the mouse cursor on all the time is feasible.

I was able to get the mouse to work in the My Documents browser through the glitch in the link below, but I haven't found anything else.

Anybody got any ideas?

It frustrates me too. I might email TI and see if it can be changed in os 3.0z

I hope they do change it.

I've always been puzzled though in how that mouse glitch I discovered a while works.
