I realized that not all of the 84+(SE) users had usb to mini usb b cables to hook their calc directly into their PC. So, I went to Amazon, looked around, and found one. I'm 99% sure it'll work, but since it's quite cheap there's really no harm done if it actually doesn't work. Here's the link: http://www.amazon.com/Cables-Go-27329-Mini-B-Cable/dp/B00006B6PH/ref=sr_1_2?ie=UTF8&qid=1306880214&sr=8-2
Enjoy. :D

Nice find!
But if you have a Prizm, the USB cable that came with that should work as well. I was able to connect to gCN once over DUSB with it. (No one was on, but I did properly connect to oblithub)

Any Mini-B to A usb cable would work. I have tons of them for various things.

Indeed. I somtimes use the micro USB to usb cable that came with my PS3, and it works perfectly (until ti-connect stopped working and ti-lp doesn't do much either...)

Yeah when connecting my TI-Nspire I sometimes used my digital camera cable. In most cases you should have no problem.

I have SO MANY micro USB to USB cords it's crazy...

Mirco USB is not the same as Mini USB. The calc uses an OTG Mini USB cable. And yes, it's the same as most cameras use. Nice handy little cable.

You can use any miniusb cable for calc to pc. For usb8x and the like it must be mini-a, which is damn near impossible to find.
-
mini-B for peripheral mode, mini-A for host mode.

Unless of course, you order it online.

What I did was just take a mini-b and stick a piece of metal between two of the pins...works great for me.

And yeah, I keep finding the calc-pc cables everywhere :P
