Greetz. I'm not sure this post is respecting the rules or not, but I'd like to ask if anyone here knows a way to activate/patch/unlock the Zoom 400/300/200/100 App by I.Q.Joe. I've combed the web for it for quite a while, but the best I could fing was an IRC log of a conversation between BrandonW and calc84maniac on how to crack it. I really could do with the unlocked app for my Math class, but I just don't have the possibility of paying 70€ for it. I'd appreciate any help. If this is against the rules, please delete the thread. Thx.

Since that app is only intended to be obtained as a paid app, we won't tell you anything about cracking it since it's against the rules. (I don't think many of us know how to do it, anyway...)
We even had to remove the download link for one of TI's OSes that is normally available for free (Nspire OS 1.1), so we on Omnimaga are usually very careful with discussing how to obtain software of this kind for free.

It solves equations step by step, solves and graphs trigonometric equations, factorizes plynomials and a bunch other stuff.

Actually, if you don't like that it's for money, I suggest making your own; then release it for free to show him who's the man :)

What JosJuice said, sorry. Actually we did not have OS 1.1 here, it was TI-BANK that did, along with every other OS, but TI asked them to remove 1.1 (not the rest). That said, there are free versions of the APP available at http://zoommath.com/Products/ZoomMath400.php , but I don't know if it does everything you need.
I wonder if ticalc.org wouldn't have an equivalent of this app that does everything you need? They have plenty of math files there, although most are in TI-BASIC, so they might be a bit slower.
Otherwise you can get rid of your 84+ app signature check protection, but then it would still be illegal to use paid apps on your calculator and since ZoomMath appears to use a serial code system the removal of the signature check wouldn't work anyway.

Although the code to disable appears pretty easy to find in the app.

Here's how in 5 easy steps:
1. Eat a banana for potassium supplements until your intelligence stat is >150
2. rip out the LCD and replace with one from a gba (backlight optional)
3. Send $F5 to port $04 to activate Low speed mode (2Hz)
4. Eat another banana
5. Beat all three levels to unlock bos rush mode, the last one gives you the ability "RemvSer", which will remove the serial

Anyway let's not give tutorials on how to activate paid softwares for free, because that would be against the rules (and could get us in trouble if the author reads this board).

Sorry, but we can't help you illegally obtain software. Also, if you have some issue that prevents you from learning the material otherwise, I'm sure the school would be willing to accommodate your situation.

I suggest you try to learn a calculator language and work on it yourself, then we could help you out much more so. I don't know if anyone would take it up for themselves just because, but anyone and everyone would love to help you out if you took the lingo upon yourself ;)
