Does anybody know how to update my 9860g slim to version 2.00 on my win7 home premium laptop? I tried and it's always interrupted.
-
I don't think 2.00 is compatible with the slim model. However if I remember there was a patched version by cfxm somewhere.
This is the wrong forum section, though, as this one is for TI calcs.

It's a CASIO 9860G Slim. And it was released, but it was illegal or somrthing in, like, Asia so they took it off the main site. It's on Casio Bank though.
-
Moved. ;)
And it seems that it's possible to put it on a slim:

:( HEY EVERYBODY!!! It was released!!!! It's on CASIO BANK!!!
-
Should I format it or something?

Does this help?

I thought changin' the Os makes the screen flip by x axis, and messes the keyboard....
-
Well, it seems like it's specially formatted for the Slim, especially seeing the picture of it (http://casio.bank.free.fr/index.php?mod=archives&ac=voir&id=128) :P
OS 2.00 only for the international version of the Slim Graph85, known as the fx-9860G Slim.

I thought the Prizm Wiki was exclusively reserved for Prizm related material? ???

Nope. It's been expanded a bit to allow for anything Casio-related (as long as it's about calcs, of course).
-
Ah ok. Will it stick to newer calcs? I was wondering since I'm sure there was already a FX-9860G wiki elsewhere (although idk if it's still online).

If enough people contribute to the non-Prizm articles, then I guess the wiki will be focused on both. The fx-9860G/GII articles on the Prizm wiki were actually moved from an old wiki which I believe doesn't work anymore.

None of the old wikis work anymore. The death of earthforge was a major contribution to that :P
-
I thought the 9860G was hosted elsewhere? I'm sure I stumbled on it somewhere around 2009 or 2010, once.
-
Its not around anymore. It wasnt done on earthforge, but it still went away somehow :P
