Hello everybody!
I decided that Omnimaga is a better place to continue my fx-ES research, as my post (http://community.casiocalc.org/topic/7583-fx-82-83gt-115-991es-hacking) on casiocalc.org did not gain much attention.
I am researching the fx-ES PLUS series of Casio calculators, such as fx-82ES PLUS and fx-991ES PLUS.
Known so far:
- fx-ES != fx-ES PLUS. They use different chips.
- The fx-ES PLUS series use a custom OKI (now Lapis Semiconductor) ML610901 microcontroller.
- The forensic result for these calculators is: 9.00000000733338.
No bugs leading to arbitrary code execution have been found yet.
To do:
- [.] Check the PCB test pads with a logic analyzer to look for the CPU's debug interface (such as JTAG)
- [.] Search for arbitrary code execution loopholes
- [.] Find more information on nX-U8 (such as the "nX-U8/100 Core Instruction Manual")

I have fx-82ES PLUS calculator myself and I am interested in hacking this calculator.
Could you post your findings, PCB photos and etc of your calculators?
I will check how they mach and etc.

sorry...I'm new to this forum and I'm seriously looking for a hackstring(if there are any), or any other hacks..including upgrade...that could be implemented on my fx82ms..
