Hello guys!
I'm correcting the LFX documentation stored here:http://prizmwiki.omnimaga.org/wiki/Lua_Documentation (http://prizmwiki.omnimaga.org/wiki/Lua_Documentation)
I wish that will make the doc easier to understand.
Now, i've corrected to "The numbers in more detail"
;) Good luck using LFX!
Oh, and one movie of the first luAFX game ever!
-
Good job, looks very nice :)
-
I've just fixed the colors page.
-
hey is there any way to use marco's afx image maker( http://www.casiocalc.org/SITE/outpages/to/afx-image-ver--?load_that=1 ) to create luaFX sprites?
-
Try using DynaGFX 5 colors.
-
Looks nice so far. I really am looking forward for Lua development on Casio calcs, seeing how popular it got for a while on the Nspire.
-
Very nice! =)
-
Thanks everyone!
So, i'll continue today!
Done, a little: to 5 colours!
-
seeing how popular it got for a while on the Nspire.
Its still, but there aren't many releases as everyone is busy on their TI-Planet/Inspired-Lua contest entry :p
-
Try using DynaGFX 5 colors.
I only see:
AFX image
Pascal source
C source
ASM source
CAT/MLC
CAT/Picture
Please help :/

LFX Updated (http://www.planet-casio.com/files/forums/LUAG85-64853.g1a)
Now supports key(0), and g.misc contrast fixed.
-
Nice work!
-
This is great! I have updated casiocalc.org file sharing. As always, tell veb and whoever else is doing it to keep up the good work! ;)
(I think veb should join omni)

Yeah true, although I wonder where did Hoffa and a few others went. Are they participating too?
Thanks everyone!

Colors? ??? Does it means LuaFX is now available on the Prizm? The FX-9860G and AFX has no color. Or do you mean grayscale?
Also nice to see LuaFX updated. :)
-
Colors as in grayscale: http://prizmwiki.omnimaga.org/wiki/Lua_colors
;)
However, afaik, luaFX is going to be extended to prizm.
-
Aah ok thank you. I wasn't sure since there are two actual lines of Casio calcs that supports real colors (although I doubt LuaFX is coming for the CFX series)
And yeah a Prizm port is gonna be necessary at one point for popularity, because eventually the Prizm is most likely gonna replace the 9860G I'm sure.
-
Afaik?
Ported on Prizm? Oo

LOL yeah, i doubt that too. That would be kinda crazy, but then again, we calc ppl are wonky in a way. :)
EDIT:
Afaik?
Ported on Prizm? Oo
AFAIK means "as far as I know" ;)
Veb has said that he will port it to prizm once finished, or have someone else do it
-
Well it would surely rule, but sadly nobody seemed interested in trying to port Ndless to it. I bet it could be possible, considering they did with the TI-81 (Unity), 82, 85, 73 and more recently the TI-80, which doesn't even have a link port. I guess it doesn't help the CFX series isn't as popular as most other calcs and that it has been discontinued for a decade or so.

AFAIK == As Far As I Know

What is ndless? (yes, i dont know yet) lol
-
Almost finished translating! :p

Cool!

What is ndless? (yes, i dont know yet) lol
Ndless is a tool that allows you to run ASM and C programs on the TI-Nspire.

ahh. so nspire uses what language as default?
i know casio FX-9860 come with the SDK, which is C/C++ so does TI have an equivelant to that?

Originally, the Nspire had no programming at all other than TI-BASIC, but the Nspire version of that language was incredibly limited, even when compared to TI's oldest calculators. When Ndless was first released, it used an exploit to run C/Asm code. However, TI blocked the exploit, preventing Ndless from working. They are even preventing people from downgrading the OS. New Ndless versions are still being made, and TI are still blocking them. As of the OS 3.0 update, Lua is supported, but TI's SDK is not a "proper" SDK (at least it seems like they're saying that on their site) - it's more like a simple converter that wraps the code into a compatible file (no compilation)

Wow! Doesn't sound like the nspire is very nspire-ing. :P
Happy I didn't get a TI-calc!
