OK as is says this is a

reeeeeeeeeeeeeeally

far out idea.

                                                                               Wait for it.................................................... Internet Access.

Of course it would require extra hardware but somebody could create a piece hardware that converts internet data into data for the 3-pin connector (or maybe USB). Really far out there I know but what do you guys think? And, off topic, can somebody explain, in laymans terms FiXos and it's project status? Is it basically just a custom OS and what would be or are the advantages, and could I ever change back? I know a lot about computers but the terminology used in the forum topic for it goes a little over my head.

This exists for ti calculators. It is called gCn (global calcnet.) I am not sure if it exists for casio calcs yet though.
I also just found out about that marquee tag.

I thought something like this existed for casio calcs, too?
But yeah, as keoni said, for the ti-83+ series there is gCn.

If I remember correctly the linking protocol on the fx-cg10 model is different than on the 84+ and according to Kerm or other people, it would not support a two-way protocol like gCn. I am sure it's the same for older models.
