Title: Who can send me an OS file(02.04) for 9860
Post by: Myth on November 20, 2015, 04:19:28 am
(Sorry,my English is not good)

You see, I want to update my fx9750(have updated to OS 02.01 for 9860) to OS 02.04,but I can't find the OS file.
In China, the links(Ti-planet) can not open.
So I'll say thanks if someone can send me the file.

(I'm from http://www.cncalc.org/)

Hi Myth,
There's a huge (27,711KB) Handheld OS Update file 'fx-9860g2_update_204_2.zip' here: https://edu.casio.com/download_service/en/download/index.html for the fx-9860GII/fx-9860G series.
The archive contains a single file: 'fx-9860GII OS Ver.2.04 Update.exe'.

See if that is good for you.

Thanks, but I only have a 9750.It can't be updated by the updater.
So l need a flash file(.fls) of 02.04.
Do you have it?

It seems that the flash file is in someone's Dropbox, but in China you can't open Dropbox, neither.

Till today I was sure my fx-9860GII SD was updated to latest version, instead I have just checked discovering I have 'only' 02.02.02.1 version.
I found also update for other add-in such as Geometry and Physium, and found new such as E-CON2(EA-200) and Probability Simulation.
My only doubt is if app that works on 2.02 will also on 2.04, especially Noteview and ftune..

EDIT: ftune confirmed working on 2.04 standing at its official page

Hello @Myth ,

I have uploaded the dropbox file to the Mega cloud.
Here's the link:-MOD SNIP-

@matteob92 The OS version, doesn't matter much when it comes to addins ecspecially the difference between 2.02 and 2.04.
The most important thing to check is if the add-in is compatible with your CPU-type (SH3 or SH4)
