TI-Nspire / 2048 for nspire
« on: April 11, 2014, 05:36:15 pm »
Hello community! Long time no see!

This week I've been working on a 2048 game for the TI-nspire in Lua. For all whom don't know it it is a highly addicting game very easy to learn.

It is not finished yet, but I hope to have it done before easter!

Here's a sneak peak for you people!

Ndless / Re: would you update to ndless 3.6?
« on: February 05, 2014, 12:14:50 pm »
will it really use less space?
maybe i was misunderstood. I meant that OS 3.1 is smaller than OS 3.6
i think ndless would not be much different on that field.

i would update to be able to have every feature of the latest OS plus ndless without using nlaunch because rebooting takes ages on my nspire touchpad and it consumes a lot of space.

Everyone except the ones that want more user space (1~2MB) would update to ndless 3.6

Yes. OS files are rejectected if the main power source is low. On TouchPad calculators, the main power source is the battery case, not the optional rechargeable battery.
I put some AAA batteries and it went well thank you

Hey, I was trying to do it by following the README to put that set up in my TI-Nspire CAS TouchPad and I am now stuck in the
«Operating System not found. Install OS now.»
message and whenever i try to send nlaunch.tnc the computer link software gives me an error saying
"the calculator is low on batteries so it is not possible to install an operating system at the moment"
however it battery is fully charged and it runs on battery only: no AAA batteries.
Do I really need to get 4xAAAs?

Hey! Long time no see!

I having some trouble trying to run Notefolio creator on windows 8.1, has anybody made it? TI-Connect v4.0.0.218 is running and Notefolio Creator is also installed. However is can't run displaying a message box with "TI Connect is either un-installed or missing. Please re-install TI Connect and try again.".
I already reinstalled both but with no success, if you could help me it'd be very appreciated.

yeap. you can always make a Lua script - that you can create in computer software - or a C/ASM program with ndless.

you don't. the nspire basic is not graphics capable like TI-8x calculators.

is it planned that the lua print() function will be back with serial printing?
It was asked.
Thank you Levak
I'm counting on having my nspire to control two servo motors this year using my arduino<-serial<-nspire's lua print() (with fixprint in OS v3.1)

TI-Nspire / Re: Chess for Ti-Nspire CX
« on: November 01, 2012, 07:35:01 pm »
I am looking into creating a chess game for ndless. There are plenty of tutorials around on the web, so I think I can do this ;D
I've just spotted the source code for a simple chess game written in C/SDL, here: http://www.thomasdupuis.com/portfolio/en/2010/03/23/chess-game-project-1st-year-prepa/ . Do you think it can help? Go ahead and do it! Cheers.'Ik zal wachten' ;)

The website says "There's no AI" ;)
It could be integrated with gnuchess to have an AI...
