What can be improved? Color is no longer an issue, but lag is now an issue, so that can be an issue.
Additionally, the OS could be improved upon to emulate a computer more, similar to DoorsCS in some sort.
I dont think there will be any more updates to the TI OS system for the TI 84 D:

General Calculator Help / Make a TI 84 a TI 89
« on: March 11, 2014, 11:33:57 pm »
Is it possible? I have 3D Graphing down, but mainly it's CAS which is an issue
Currently, I have the ZoomMath system as the premier system to use, but the full one costs money.
There also is Symbolic, but lately I find it limiting. So is there any good alternatives to the TI 89 in terms of CAS, and is it possible to program one? are they working on it? Please answer i dont want to be alone D:

VERY USEFUL IF POSSIBLE

Axe / Differences in language btwn TIBASIC and AXE
« on: March 11, 2014, 11:30:53 pm »
Any differences? When I saw a screenshot of Axe, I couldnt tell much of a difference. Either I am not experienced enough in programming, or I just need to read more.  :banghead: :banghead: :banghead: :banghead: :banghead: :banghead: :banghead: :banghead: :banghead:

Other Calc-Related Projects and Ideas / New Ideas for Calculators
« on: March 11, 2014, 11:29:28 pm »
I have had quite a few things in mind that could increase the potential for the calculator:
-Wireless 2.5 mm cables
-Touchscreeen capabilities
-holsters to easily hold calculators
-Calculator Defense Mechanism to defend against thieves (I had mine stolen so
-Sonic Screwdriver-like sensors
-Anything you like!
Can any of these be accomplished?

thx for the peanuts!
Although, I am quite fascinated with programming, and from what I hear, TI-Assembly is hard as hell.
Then I look at Axe Parser, and im thinking" is this my answer to my programming urge?"
Because it provides the best of both worlds: simple programming, and much faster graphics!

Other Calc-Related Projects and Ideas / Wireless 2.5 MM cable?
« on: March 08, 2014, 10:43:47 am »
One day, I saw a wireless mouse.
As everyone knows, wireless things are cool (most of the time)
But is it possible to make a wireless 2.5 mm cable?
If so, IM is possible for the TI-84, all sorts of possibilities can be made possible!
One possible canidate is the IR link, but it's out of date.
So can anyone think of a possible way to achieve a WIRELESS 2.5 mm cable?
 :blah:

Introduce Yourself! / hi!
« on: March 08, 2014, 10:39:01 am »
Hi!
I'm asi14, a TI-calc user, obviously.
As of now, I consider myself "ok" at the TI-84, the TI-83, that range of calculator, compared to the rest of the Omnimaga community. I can navigate without a problem throughout most of the OS of the calculator, and I even touched upon some TI-BASIC!

However, I want to take the next step- Assembly programming. Because if I know something, that' the good stuff. That's real programming-not this TI-BASIC. So, if possible, can one of you guys navigate me to Z80 Assembly? Thx!
