TI-BASIC / Applications Comands
« on: June 03, 2014, 10:52:43 am »
Hi there, I was wondering if there is any way to open and do stuff in a new page of a document by executing a program form a library.

e.g: Let's say i'm in the calculator application, i execute this program from a library and it automaticaly opens a graphics application and plots some functions there.

btw, I use a TI-nspire CX CAS

TI-Nspire / Re: Cant work with EEPro user-made databases

At first, yes, i used weird characters like θ τ β γ. But then i make the same thing but changing θ for "theta", τ for "tau" and so on, but in the end it gave the same error message

EDIT:
I have re-write all the formulas and now is working (I think the "weird character" was m^4, changed it for m4), but just when I use the predefine units, if I chage the unit, I get an error message

TI-Nspire / Cant work with EEPro user-made databases
« on: April 27, 2014, 09:17:53 pm »
Hi there, i'm new with EEPro, and its really awesome, but its all oriented to electronics and electricity, so I used the database creator (http://education.bwns.be/FormulaPro/) to make a database of some mechanics formulas. The problem is, I cant open the .tns file that was created on my calc and neither on the pc software (for the record, i'm using a CX CAS with 3.1.0.392 OS and 3.1.914 ndless; and my pc software is on 3.2)

whenever I try to open the .tns file i get this message:
"An error was found in the format of this document"

Is there any way to solve this problem? has anyone had the same experience?

TI-Nspire / Re: nspire CX CAS bottom port
« on: April 20, 2014, 11:11:53 am »
thanks Hayleia, i already known that hackspire site, but it was a bit confusing because they say that the dock connector is J01, but on my device the dock connector is named J05. I will check that topic on TI planet and try to understand more about all that stuff.

As a side note, i have tried to supply an external led through the mini usb port (i actually used a mini usb adapter to have more space between pins) but an strange error message apears and cut's off the power supply of the mini usb port until i connect another device to it.
The message is as follows: "Disconnect and reconnect the USB peripheral attached to handheld; if problem persists make sure the battery in your Cradle and/or Handheld fully carged or on AC power. If this does not correct the situation the USB peripheral is likely faulty"

TI-Nspire / nspire CX CAS bottom port
« on: April 20, 2014, 03:30:15 am »
Does anyone knows the pin names/descriptions of the bottom port in the nspire CX CAS? (i guess i would be the same as the non-CAS version, there is a photo to clarify which port i am talking about. Source: http://www.datamath.org/Graphing/JPEG_NSpire_CX_EZ.htm)
Basically, what i want to do is to try to control an external device through this port. My first goal, to keep it simple, is just to turn on/off a led, but i need the info about the pins in order to know which one i should use.

btw, i know i would have to use ndless, with ndless 3.1 is enough? or do you think i would have to use ndless 3.6?

TI-Nspire / USB external memory for nspire CX
« on: April 19, 2014, 04:00:16 pm »
Hi, I'm new in this forum and i was wondering if there is an already developed driver to use an usb memory with the nspire CX.
All i know is that some people manage to get the drivers to use a mouse and keyboard connected by the mini usb port (http://ndlessly.wordpress.com/2013/04/20/introducing-hidn-usb-hid-drivers/) it's a cool feature, but i think i would be more useful if we could use that mini usb port for storage, dont you think?
