Obviously this is an April-fools prank.

I got 3.2cas running on my non cas clickpad;D.
It'd be better if you didn't post about stuff like that I'd think. We want a good relationship with TI so that they do not try to stop us from doing what we want. We don't want a 3.3 that blocks downgrade and native code.
It was already posted in the original post anyway.

General Calculator Help / Re: Hacking the TI Nspire CX Native OS?

nlaunch which was released recently makes it possible to load a non-signed or custom os and bypass the encryption key. So I guess it would be possible to mod the os and add extra feature now. Only problem is that you would wouldn't be able to distribute modified os's as that would directly be against the copyright.

Will this work on the cx nspire?

I guess the devs are the ones making Ti's products worthwhile. If it wasn't for them I guess our os's would be loaded with bloatware that not even Ti knows how to remove.

That really is kinda weird to have the uninstallation software and don't create a link to it and say in the manual "UNREMOVABLE" :o

General Calculator Help / Re: Help with DummyOS and OSLauncher

Thanks for telling me DJ_O. Could you please give me the link to the thread. I'm interested in trying it out. I had been holding off on upgrading to os 3.x because I needed oslauncher, but I also sorely missed the lua programs available.

Yeh. For me os launcher works 100% of the time if I launch it by clicking on the file ( I have the clickpad nspire) . But if I launch it by pressing enter it freezes 100% of the time.

By the way I was not aware that oslauncher worked on os 3.x

Techpoweredmath.com seems to have some inside scoop about a new line of nspires called the nspire cx+! According to the website it has the ability to play music and sync with itunes. Thats all it mentioned about the new cx but I wonder what ti could have kept confidental. Check out the link here if you're interested.  http://www.techpoweredmath.com/apple-texas-instruments-form-alliance/

TI-Nspire / Re: OSLauncher 3.1
« on: March 10, 2012, 01:46:38 pm »
I saw on tiplanet that the success rate of launching the cas os on the non cas nspire with oslauncher is about 5%. One thing I have noticed about my calc is that if I launch oslauncher with the enter key it freezes 100% of the time on the thatched screen. But if I launch oslauncher by clicking, it loads successfully 100% of the time. (note that I'm launching os 2.1)

Other Calculators / Re: Should I get a nspire?

I paid $96 for my non-cas, brand new, off ebay about 2 years and I'm lovin it. The nspire is great. In MY opinion it's the best ti-calc ever made 8), if not a little closed to programmers.
