Casio Calculators / Geometry Animations
« on: August 08, 2014, 12:54:51 pm »
I've followed the instructions in the manual perfectly. I press go (once) and it just moves the point I selected to a point on the segment I selected (e.g. I draw a circle, it gives me a point "b" and a center "a"), and stays there. It doesn't animate at all. The four pixels in the corner that mean it's doing something are on though. Any idea on how to fix this? Could it be a lack of memory?

Does anybody know what happened to the fxLock add-in? All the links to it that I can find are broken.

Casio Calculators / Weird bug
« on: July 31, 2014, 06:07:54 pm »
My calculator has a weird bug. On Reader and Reckon the app appears for a second then disappears, as if somebody called ClearText. If I press AC it will re appear in the same state it was in, and if, after releasing AC, I hit MENU quickly before it disappears, then hit MENU again to go back into the program it fixes the bug. But why does it do this in the first place?

Casio Calculators / Really far out there idea
« on: July 31, 2014, 05:59:54 pm »
OK as is says this is a
reeeeeeeeeeeeeeally
far out idea.
                                                                               Wait for it.................................................... Internet Access.
Of course it would require extra hardware but somebody could create a piece hardware that converts internet data into data for the 3-pin connector (or maybe USB). Really far out there I know but what do you guys think? And, off topic, can somebody explain, in laymans terms FiXos and it's project status? Is it basically just a custom OS and what would be or are the advantages, and could I ever change back? I know a lot about computers but the terminology used in the forum topic for it goes a little over my head.
