I know the TI-84+ is very nice (since I've owned one myself, currently my sister's using it for school but I'll probably get it back in a year). I have no clue about the N-Spire though...

I must be one of the few people to like this song. Altough not as much as I used to since I went more into trance then eurodance and happy hardcore and then it played almost every day at work and now the internets meme :P

I do like it too. I don't like Rick Astley's other work very much, but I just love this song because the music's so pure and his voice's awesome. And the lyrics are so cheesy they're great! :)

That's true, Kevin, but at least it was functional. :)

I remember doing all my game coding for it with the PC interface. Never tried it on calculator, really.

Hey, welcome back! ;D  I'm doing OK, except that I'm really busy with school.

Aren't we all busy with school/studies? I know I am. Nice to see you again anyway. :)

Madskillz was working on the 83+ version (as I said in my previous post in the other thread, I was supposed to work on it too but didn't get around to it), don't know how much progress he'd made yet though. It's great to hear that he'll get back to it again, gotta ask him about that sometime. For the 86, burntfuse was the first to make a fully working interpreter for any platform, and I don't know of anyone else working on an other 86 interpreter. MLC 2 wasn't complete in specifications yet, as bfr said, so I'm not sure if you could make an interpreter for it yet.

Cool that you're working on a Telnet mud. Tried to connect and it asked me for a log in name but I couldn't type anything in. :(

If it's of any help, I'm using Windows XP SP 3.

TI 68K / Re: MLC 68K

Wow, I'd heard of a MLC 68k version still being worked on but I never thought I'd see it come to any form of fruition. Bfr, this is awesome. I was one of the original staff members (known as Unknown/The Unknown One/the_unknown_one) who thought of and started working on MLC. Though personally I never got around to doing more than testing, programming a few games (Shoot! is one I can think of) and discussing the platform/giving ideas (I was supposed to work on the TI-83+ version but I never got around to it), it was awesome and I'm glad it's still alive. For me, the problem was that it was just too ambitious, making an interpreter for all (or at least several) calculator models while keeping speed and all... It was a huge project, and we weren't able to pull it off. But I think we have like... The 86 version, 68k version, two Casio versions and the PC IDE, right? That's not bad. If I ever get the time and motivation for calculator programming again, maybe I'd make some games for it or even an TI-83/84 interpreter... Who knows what the future holds? Anyway, thanks for keeping this alive, bfr. If you're still working on it, keep us informed about updates please, I'd like to stay in the know about this.

Man, I've been calcrolled twice already... And calcrolled myself once. Because I love that song. :)

Hi all, I'm Bram, previously known on the TI forums and IRC channels as the_unknown_one, now calling myself Dantes. I used to program TI-Basic and z80 ASM, but I haven't made anything in 3 years or so. I've been a member of programming groups such as DP, EPS, Revsoft and (sort of) Omnimaga. If I ever have the time and motivation I might start programming. Currently I'm studying English and Dutch linguistics and literature at university, but it isn't going very well due to all kinds of health and life problems, so I don't know what next year will bring yet. And else, I've been busy with music, competing in the Masters of Song Fu songwriting competition (fell out in round 1 though) and stuff. Anyway, I'm glad this place is back. Good job, Kévin. :)
