Ok, and one last question.

As you may know, some games have anti piracy code. For instance in Fire Red someone says "By the way: if you like this game buy it or die".

So does it emulate well enough for games to "think" that it's a gameboy?

Awesome work.

However you'll need to do some work before it's better than VisualBoyAdvance.

Are there many bugs?

Computer Programming / Re: [Help]Eclipse C++ OpenGL on a mac
« on: August 15, 2013, 01:40:03 pm »
I looked through the OpenGL files in Xcode.

There are no .lib files. And as adriweb said it's framework.

Edit: Just to clarify. All I want to be able to do is to draw images and lines ect... with C++. To me it doesn't really matter the IDE or the library. It's just that OpenGL is apparently great.

Edit2: I have decided to use SDL. I think I have it working on Xcode. Link to the tutorial I used: http://meandmark.com/blog/2012/01/using-sdl-with-xcode-4/

I have Xcode.

But the problem is that I can't get OpenGL to work with C++ on Xcode.

Just get Xcode, and it will install the OpenGL headers as part of it.

The thing is that I'm not quite sure how to do that

Thanks!

But on the site:http://www.opengl.org/wiki/Getting_started

On the mac part it doesn't offer a download and just says to use Xcode.

Hello, I am using a mac right now and want to use OpenGL on C++.

I use the eclipse IDE. I have already setup my C++ enviroment so don't worry about that.

So I can get to this stage: http://www.paulsolt.com/GLUT/images/Properties2.jpg

But I have no idea how to add the libraries. When I go on the OpenGL site it just says that I should use Xcode.

I can find the OpenGL and GLUT files in Xcode. But I don't know how to move them over to eclipse.

Side note: I would use Xcode for this but the only tutorial I can find for Xcode C++ with OpenGL isn't using the up to date version of Xcode.

Computer Programming / Decent Mode 7 tutorial?
« on: June 20, 2013, 01:16:01 pm »
So I followed this(http://www.permadi.com/tutorial/raycast/) tutorial, and I quite liked it because it didn't have a specific language, it was just the theory.

Even though my understanding of ray casting is different to theirs.

My understanding:
The hight drawn on the wall depends on it's distance

Their Understanding:
Something to do with a projection pane.

So is there any decent mode 7 tutorials? I have seen some but they are all for the GBA.

I have heard that Mode 7 is like raycasting, but is it like my understanding or is it like the projection pane understanding?

Calculator C / Re: [Ndless] Tunnel

I'm not an expert(In fact I have no idea how this works) but it looks to me that you are stretching the bottom of the texture across half the tunnel. Make sure that your variable(One of the texture drawing ones) isn't saying constant.

Maybe it's just a hunch, but I think this guy is a troll.

What makes me think he is a troll is that he has terrible spelling.

He has the most ridiculous idea.

And for someone who even knows what a quadrtic formula is, he should be able to spell.

So, TheNlightenedOne, have you started to make something or are you planning to start?

I saw this live and I have to say I am most exited about the new smash bros.
At first I was surprised by Villager(Animal crossing), but that was nothing compared to...
WII FIT TRAINER! You read that right Wii fit trainer.

Lua / Re: The animal crossing team.
« on: June 09, 2013, 06:00:14 pm »
Hey guys, I have recently been playing a lot of animal crossing and would really really like to pick this project up, but have a few problems:
1:I hate LUA(Don't ask why I just do for some reason)
2:I have no devotion
3:I am not that good a programming
4:Making the entire game would take wayyy to long.

So if(and that's a big IF) I do pick this up it would be really nice to work with someone and it would be in Ndless C.

(Don't get your hopes up. If you have seen any of my posts and promises they are all pretty much broken, apart from Phil)

I am glad to see this.

After the freeze of Ncraft(Possibly even dead), it's nice to see some kind of minecraft.
