TI-Nspire / Re: HIDn - USB HID drivers for the TI-Nspire

If you make a little stand for the nspire and sit back in a chair and play Lua games, it feels pretty cool
Sadly, this doesn’t work with ndless programs, so no keyboard and Mario cart
And on another note, for some reason all the Lua games have crazy numbers for scores, though that could be nlaunch, ndless or my own calculator

No no. That was an estimate. It could be off by as much as 200. And i would like to get it to within 10 or 20 signs of error. So until then we should keep to the current number. :)

I'd advise you not to do the same with "We repeat stuffs in here. A lot." because it would take ages and too much space. But yeah, I agree that this thread is not only about signs of addiction to Omni, but a bit about random jokes and repetitions.
Though last night I got bored and started working on a compilation of incorrect numbering. We should be closer to about 5100. Though there is this
But yeah, I agree that this thread is not only about signs of addiction to Omni, but a bit about random jokes and repetitions.
2335: These are not reasons, signs, or even jokes about being addicted to calcs, omni or anything technological.
2240: You look upon the degeneration of a thread with such potential with disdain :(
4198: You unsubscribe from the 9001 signs you are addicted to calcs and Omni topic and stop visiting it because there are so many signs posted already that it's much harder to find new ones, and as a result, some people are just flooding the list with smiley spam <_<
Though this is still a fun thread. But it is interesting to see how many times a lot of these were said
4787: Whenever there is a multiquote of people repeating stuffs in here a lot, you're always included :P (True Story)
I don’t see your name in there at all :)

Well I keep my Nspire at 222, 222, 76 with Nover, and it works fine.
Though just wondering, what is the optimal configuration?

For other purposes, why would it be forbidden ?
but it is legal because the CAS and non-CAS OSes are freely available on TI's official website.
Is it legal? I looked through the license packet that came with the Nspire, and I could not see anything allowing it or disallowing it. So even if it has no restrictions directly provided to you, it may be out there for you to download, but that doesn’t make it legal.
Soda fountains may be open access, but it is still illegal to fill a free water cup with sprite.

Though I’ve only researched the legality of calculators a few times, and other electronic information several times, so I am not an expert.

Other Calculators / Re: N-spire 3.1 graphing glitch
« on: March 27, 2013, 07:30:34 pm »
Change your window, and it should change too. I remember graphing sin(x)/x and finding that the graph would look like a sine function, and then changing the window size and it would be correct, even when only by less than a percent of the window size would recalculate it. I assumed that the calculator just graphed a number of points and found the best fit curve, and that is why these appear differently, but I don’t know for sure.
but I think it makes a taylor expansion to fit the function.
I thought almost all ti calculators use the CORDIC algorithm

I tried doing that.
Getting the headphone jack and the stand were easy, connecting the wires was easy, just getting then to line up with the tiny serial port was difficult.

General Calculator Help / Re: My nspire cx touchpad won't respond

I never was able to get linux to do too much, so so I wouldn’t know.
I can use all of the other keys fine, but not the touchpad. It would be nice if the battery pack  was removable so that I could let it completely reset.
