TI Calculators / TI-84+ Kana Learning Program
« on: September 07, 2014, 01:53:25 pm »
Hiya everyone
a few weeks ago i've downloaded Nihongo!, a Kana learning program made by Charles Wetzel
http://www.ticalc.org/archives/files/fileinfo/420/42051.html
and then i started to improve upon it, by adding (han)dakuten and youon, and i've even added special characters for english transcription, and the program is around 80% faster than before :D
please check it out and any feedback would be highly appreciated

Gaming Discussion / Post your video game bucket list here
« on: July 17, 2014, 08:36:01 am »
I was curious which games y'all are going to play, or really want to play.

This is mine fttb:
The Legend of Zelda - Ocarina of Time
The Legend of Zelda - Majora's Mask
Castlevania - Symphony of the Night (awesome game, highly recommended)
Castlevania - Rondo of Blood (you know, that game nobody owns because it launched on a crappy system which was more popular in japan so it never got an american/european release (and i'm not counting the dracula x chronicles rerelease for the psp, which, ironically is also a crappy system to be honest))
Castlevania 1 (wasn't as hard as i expected)
Castlevania 2 (i've decided that i'll do it anyway)
Castlevania 3 (a lot harder than castlevania 1, but a lot of fun nonetheless)
Castlevania Bloodlines
Super Castlevania IV
Castlevania GBA/DS Titles
Banjo Kazooie/Tooie
Super Mario 64
Donkey Kong 64
Donkey Kong Country 2/3
Super Metroid (Without using cheats  ::) )
Metroid Fusion
Metroid Zero Mission
Rayman 2 - The Great Escape (screw mario, this is a great 3d platformer)
The classic megaman series (1 - 6) (maybe 7 too, depends)
Paper Mario

When you complete one of the games of your list, strike it through like this

Could it be possible to code a symbolic ordinary differential equation solver for the TI-84 using symbolic and prettyprint?
Like y(x)'=y(x) outputs y(x)=Ce^x

« on: April 12, 2014, 06:11:22 am »
Hey guys,

I've made a great program for quaternion arithmetic :D
It's called Hamilton (the inventor of quaternions)
You need Omnicalc, Symbolic and Prettyprint for it to run properly

Please check it out!

General Calculator Help / TI84 Extra Symbols
« on: March 31, 2014, 10:13:03 am »
is it possible to add extra symbols like:

or:

or:
Γ
to the symbols on the ti84?
i'm not talking about changing the font because that would screw up prettyprint (which i'm having a secret affaire with :P )

Introduce Yourself! / better late than never
« on: March 27, 2014, 12:38:14 pm »
i've been on omni for a while now, and i've never actually introduced myself

so, three years ago, i got my first graphing calculator, the ti83 (not plus)
at first, i thought it was a handheld, so i was kinda suprised that i couldn't play games on it from the get go.
so i looked up the manual on the internet and i found out that you could code on it

and that's when the programming spark happened...

a few months later, i sold it, and with the money i bought a ti83+
but that one broke, so my parents got me a ti84+se, which i still own as of today

the programming languages i know are BASIC, and a little AXE

my other hobbies and interests are video games (gamecube FTW), and rubiks cubes (i know how to solve a 3x3x3, a 2x2x2 and a 2x2x4 respectively)

so that's me
