ASM / Learning z80 ASM

Hey guys, I just bought a TI-84+SE from ebay and I would really like to learn z80 assembly.

I currently know of the 28 day tutorial thing but do you guys have any tips to get me started?

I think I can handle assembly since it wont be my first language and I think I'm a quick learner.

Also quick question.  Isn't assembly an interpreted language, so do you need to modify the text file before sending it to the calculator?  What I'm trying to say is that there is no compiler or something like that right?

General Calculator Help / TI-83 (No Plus) Corrosion Help

Hi,

I have a TI-83 that boots up to a black screen and the contrast wont go down.  I open it up and I find some corrosion from what looks like a battery leak.  Any tips on cleaning that off and getting this calculator working again?

General Calculator Help / Alternative Way to Send Files to Nspire CX CAS?

Hi everyone, I recently did a fresh install of windows on my computer and re installed the Student software provided for my calculator.  While trying to activate it it asks me to connect my calculator.  I do this and then it tells me that my calculator was already used to activate a Student software program thing. D:  Does anyone know another way to transfer files to the Nspire CX CAS without the student software?  I've heard of TILP but I wasn't sure if it was compatible with the CX CAS.  I already emailed TI about it but they have not replied yet.

General Calculator Help / Ti-Nspire CX CAS Wont Go Into Standby Mode Automatically After Ndless Install

I installed Ndless on my Ti-Nspire CX CAS a couple days ago and have noticed that it will not go into standby mode automatically anymore.  Is this a common thing with Ndless?  I also had Ndless installed on my calculator without any problems before but now that I re-installed it it wont go into standby mode when I just leave it.  It's not a big deal but my battery dies faster if I forget to turn it off.  Does anyone know how to fix this?  By the way I installed ndless-v3.1-beta-r685 and also have used polydumper to get an emulator running on my computer if that makes any difference.

Calculator C / C Programming Books Or Tutorials?

Hey everyone.  I'd like to know if anyone would recommend any books on C programming.  I just started wanting to program my calculator but I've already had programming experience with Java ( I took a class on it at school).  I want to get going on C programming but there are so many different books on it.  Should I get a book or just watch tutorials?  What tutorials are good?  I have a Ti-Nspire CX CAS and would like to get some programs running on it so I really want to learn C as soon as possible.
