Calculator C / C Programming Books Or Tutorials?
« on: September 19, 2012, 02:04:08 am »
Hey everyone.  I'd like to know if anyone would recommend any books on C programming.  I just started wanting to program my calculator but I've already had programming experience with Java ( I took a class on it at school).  I want to get going on C programming but there are so many different books on it.  Should I get a book or just watch tutorials?  What tutorials are good?  I have a Ti-Nspire CX CAS and would like to get some programs running on it so I really want to learn C as soon as possible.

Thanks

This sounds like a great idea!  I've got an Nspire CX CAS and just started learning C. I took a year course on Java at school and C does not seem too hard to learn after having some experience with Java.  Maybe I'll give it a shot some time in the future.

Seems like you guys are getting ready for the battle; but, lets hope that the war doesn't break out.  If this SOPA thing goes through it would be a bunch of people that have no idea what it can do that would have voted for it.

Does anyone know if this is going to be released in the USA and or Canada?  It would be nice to have a mini 84.

Will this work for the Nspire CX and Nspire CX CAS once Ndless 3.1 is released?

This, combined with several of the 2009 members, staff reaching college level and me being quieter on the forums since last Summer, has caused Omnimaga posting activity to drop considerably.

Are you saying that most of the game developers are still highschool students? :o
