I played H.E.R.O. on Keoni's 2600 and I can probably say that HeroCore is much easier. This game has invisible death traps and everything plus the controls are weeeirrd.

Heh, I like your take on the walrus avatar happybobjr.
And you can't really steal what is open source lol.
Ehem, licensing. Lack of license means all rights reserved.
Also @Eeems I don't think we used any of Omni's (or any site's) code except for cooliojazz's recent posts mod which as street said we got explicit permission for.

So yeah, been very busy with school, I have a pretty important test tonight and I've been studying for it last week, so no progress. I'll try to get stuff done this week as I'm taking 2 nights off from homework :P

Just like how I got Fzero before I got my SNES but with an extra zero on the price tag? :p
You bought F-Zero SNES for $699.90?? O.O

More like your XOne is gonna cost ~400 while my SNES costed ~40 and we both got games for the console before we got the actual thing.

IIRC you can just downgrade from 3.6 to 3.1 but correct me if I'm wrong.

Calculator C / Re: Getting touchpad coordinates
« on: November 21, 2014, 01:12:30 pm »

The touchpad code for nKaruga is in Player.cpp IIRC. Also, the touchpad needs "initialization", which is done at the start of main.
Basically, you "initialize" the touchpad by reading HW constants from it (you'll need them). You only do that once, since they are constants. When that's done, read the touchpad at any time with touchpad_scan.
The touchpad doesn't need initialization and the constants are actually fixed and the same everywhere, so you can completely skip that. (Anyway, only the relative coordinates are interesting, as touchpads are generally not used to get absolute coordinates, the way TI uses the touchpad to replace arrow keys is really annoying)
Er, I actually do want the absolute coordinates, as I'm not planning to use it as a mouse movement device.

Calculator C / Getting touchpad coordinates
« on: November 21, 2014, 08:56:25 am »
As per topic title. I would like to get the coordinates off the touchpad. I looked at matrefeytontias' code for nKaruga but I couldn't make much of it. What I'd like to know is 1) how to access the touchpad and 2) how to get the coordinates off it. TIA :D

n2DLib library by matrefeytontias
Still thinking that lib is from matref, eh ?
Ok, he's the one who wrote the most interesting parts and probably most code too, and is probably the only one to still be working on it, but he was the third one to join the "team".
And Ok, saying "n2Dlib by Hayleia, pierrotdu18 and matref" might be a bit erroneous since I only worked on it at the very beginning (and I don't know about pierrotdu18 and about potential other contributors), but why not just say "n2Dlib" ?
Welp, sorry ^^ '''' made the same silly mistake. Please don't hate me D:

Edit: I plan to add piece previewing today. Maybe I'll do a graphics overhaul tomorrow, but I can't guarantee that because I also want to add the flipped mode. I'll see what I'll do first.
