Casio Calculators / Re: Secret debug menu

Nice, were there any key combination to access that one [...]?

I guess no. There was one on the fx-9860G/GII up to OS 1.05, but they removed it with OS 2.00. Now you need syscall 0x0924.
You can't even access this menu by closing some contacts on the PCB. On the fx-9860G/GII you had to look for P103.

I don't think we can be sure yet... We know about one checksum that it has, but we don't know yet if it has more.

Sure, but it's the same as seen in the diagnostics menu.
And 'ABS' seems to refer to the boot code checksum - so wherever you see 'ABS', then this means 'Simon only'. :D

Are you talking about the memory locations of those checksums, or the checksums themselves?

xyz checksum (0x??): <= Where the checksum is stored (4 bytes)
0x??..0x?? + 0x??..0x?? <= How it is calculated (simple sum)

BIOS checksum (0x1FFFC):
0x00..0x02FF + 0x0340..0x01FFBF

OS checksum (0xB5FFF8):
0x020000..0xB5FEAF + 0xB5FEF0..0xB5FFF7

Well, at least Insight can be compiled with -cpu=sh4 and -fpu=single
But I did not notice any difference.

IDA Pro 6.0 feature list

+ SuperH: added SH-4a instructions

So you need IDA 6.0 to fully disassemble the OS?
Unfortunately, the last cracked version seems to be 5.5 :(

Casio Calculators / Password Reader

Here are my password-reading programs. :)

Press [DEL] to remove the password from a Casio-Basic program.
On the Prizm, go to system menu and use UserKey as the system password.

A bit offtopic, but is it Japanese that is preinstalled on the Prizm?

As well as the language packs, right?
I don't understand your question... :)
Language add-ins have nothing to do with eActivity strips nor any .g3a header. They extend message and menu language only.

The monochrome picture at 0x290 and those names starting at 0x0170 are used for eActivity strips.
Just in case, this is not known yet.

I could not find a way how to do this.
