Miscellaneous / Re: What happend, everyone has a right to know.

i just seriously dont understand it anymore. this is like the forth frigging time. TheStorm is a dumbass, but who the hell cares. what does it matter what the trolls say? ive been telling you for years, you owe us nothing. you make your site how you want, do what you want youve sweat for us, bled for your projects, put more time into this than i can even imagine yet you still feel like you owe it to us to listen to our griping and pissing and moaning. dont, these people who make all that noise dont matter. let me tell you what listening to such idiots does: it hurts the ones who do care, the ones who love omnimaga for what it stands for and it hurts the ones who truly admire you for all the work you have put into various projects for the benefit of a basically anonymous online community. such selflessness is rare and there are some rare individuals who do see it and admire it. but let me ask you something kev and if you come back to read this, give this question a fair hearing. why is that after you 'overreact' and pull down the site, then bring it back, why do these people come back? these people who do nothing but complain finally have the chance to leave, why do they crawl back every time? ill tell you. its because this is one of the few, if not the only, good sites for what they are interested in. they see the light in a dark cave and are drawn to it like flies. they wander over realizing 'hey, maybe this site isnt as bad as i thought it was, yeah it isnt tailored to my own very specific wants and needs but at least its not like the rest of the shithole communities.' its because even they can recognize quality, even if they are unable to proclaim it as such. its because you have truly done something worth admiring and THAT is what you should always remember kev.

i hope that the mods can see my post for what it is instead of how it looks if you read only the lines about TheStorm. its not about him. please dont delete this post. dont let my nine posts fool you, ive been here longer than many, i know what im talking about.

classic game, i remember i couldnt beat a level with like thousands of chips and tons of those dudes that chase after you.

i got a question though,

are the levels going to be the same as in the pc game?
ifso how big wil this be? i remember there were like hundreds of very large levels.

raycasting, if you are still confused, is like fake 3d. think of the breakdown of ray casting as throwing out sight lines in order to decide what can be seen by the character. if a ray connects with something, then it is displayed. this differs from a real 3d engine in that the math used to run a raycasting engine requires square walls and right angled corners where 3d is more flexible.

so expensive, but it depends on what you want to use it for. 89 has all of the 84 capabilities and all the things people write for the 84 like graph3 and symbolic, the 89 does by default. the 84 has a larger game and user base.

as many of you who played melee knew, many techniques were going to get the shaft for brawl. brawl isnt melee 2, they rewrote the entire physics engine among other things. anyway, here is a list of things that you CAN do in this new game. http://smashboards.com/showthread.php?t=142139

in my school, in fourth grade i was banned from using the computers. i think i did it because there was a new tech lady who did everything, and she removed oregon trail from all the computers. so i passworded the bios on the main server computer. thinking back on that now makes me smile. we got a new person the next year, a guy, and he heard the story and decided that i needed an account, he told me in private that he didnt like that lady and that he was impressed that i knew how to do that.
