I might as well announce I'm back. I've been gone for a while due to multiple things such as harder school work, moving, and stuff.

(  ) Here's what I'm planning to get so far: (Prices are with shipping) Case - NZXT M59 - $50 Mobo - AsRock P67 PRO3 - $140 CPU - i5 2500k - $225 RAM - Geil valueplus 4gb ddr3 1600 - $45 PSU - Cooler Master Silent Pro M600 - $83 Video Card - MSI GTX 460 768mb twin frozr 2 - $150 Harddrive - WD 500GB blue - $44 DVD drive - already have The total cost is $779.33 $752-ish with shipping , I'm keeping it under $800. Everything is from newegg except the case, which is from Amazon If anyone knows of anything better, please tell me. EDIT: Realized the i5 will be so fast I won't need to overclock, so I'm not getting the heatsink.

For a couple of years now, I have had a Lego mindstorms robotics set. However, the infrared transmitter for sending programs to the robot is broken, and I have Not been able to use it until now, when my friend gave me a transmitter he doesn't use anymore. Now that I can use it, could some one suggest to me a challengeing task I could get a robot to do?

I found a brainfuck compiler on ticalc.org. Not knowing what it was, I googled it. Apparently, it is a super-minimalist language with only 8 operators. Anyone tried it yet?

I decided to sync my itouch for the first time today, it made a backup, and then it started deleting apps. I unplugged the cable. Is there a way to recover those apps from the backup, and then not have itunes delete them again? (If it makes a difference, I got my apps using "questionable methods")

I had an idea to fix the power bug in OS 1.1 - make a program that runs the proper LCD reinitialization code.
To figure out what that is, use the emulator to find out what routine is being called in a newer os, and make an ndless program that contains it, and is run similar to reset.tns.
However, I'm no good with low-level stuff, so could someone who's good with it try this?

I was playing gbc4nspire on my calc 15 mins ago, and the calc turned off. I assumed the emulator had crashed, so I removed the keypad to pull a battery, but when I opened it, one battery went bang, and it was smoking, and battery paste was inside the compartment.
Before anyone asks, yes, the batteries were all in the right way.
