I'm excused, too, because I've only had English at school for three years XD

I took the first again and didn't have exactly the same words, but my result remained almost the same.
I also took again the second and this time it says I knew 25000 words, whereas the first time it was only 15000, not really a constant result ;)

I think the first is more realistic. If you have only four meanings to choose from you can  sometimes find out the correct answer without knowing the word.

In the first test I got 5970 words, in the second 15000.

If anyone still wants it, I've coded a timer with start/stop/reset and hrs:min:sec for Ndless users.

Edit: fixed a little bug that when you reseted parts of the old time remained on the display

I could write a timer with only seconds, minutes and hours in less than half an hour, but I don't know yet how you could do the milliseconds.

Calculator C / Re: Nspire: Keypad Input
« on: September 27, 2011, 11:54:16 am »
This code lets you use an OS function to get the key code. When you call it, it waits until a key gets pressed and then gives you the key code.
To use it you have to copy paste Goplat's code into your project and replace #ifdef to #endif with the two codelines bsl posted.

Thank you, they've sent me a new license number.

Miscellaneous / Re: Why Johnny Can't Code
« on: September 26, 2011, 04:49:54 pm »
I started with C, but after some time I got bored because I couldn't display any graphics. I searched with google a long time but couldn't find anything easy and common for the computer. Then, after two years, I got a TI-83 and began programming again because I could make a game with graphics. Then we had to buy an Nspire CAS for school and I began programming it in C with Ndless.

General Calculator Help / TiLP installation on Windows 7 64 bit
« on: September 14, 2011, 03:22:03 pm »
Because Computer Link doesn't work on my compute, I've tried to install TiLP. First, I installed version 1.15, but there was always an error message about some "atk_something.dll" not being found. Then I tried version 1.16: the newest build first complained about "iconv.dll" being missing and when I downloaded an iconv.dll this error disappeared but a new error came about an entry point in an usb dll not being found. Then I tried some other 1.16 builds, but with all the same error. Then I retried 1.15 and somehow it seemed to work: the program starts now correctly. But it doesn't connect to my Nspire CAS and in the cmd window there's always the warning "no devices found". Does anybody now what to do?

Firstly I learn C better, but I'll try Lua as soon as I install OS 3.x, maybe when the new Ndless comes out.

General Calculator Help / Installing Nspire student software on a new PC?
« on: September 13, 2011, 12:31:08 pm »
I have bought a new PC and now I want to uninstall the student software on the old one and install it on the new one. But even if I uninstall it on my old computer the installer says I have already used the licence to install it. Does anyone know how to do it? Or isn't it possible at all.

I finished the game in one afternoon, I was so addicted that I played five hours, then I had all upgrades and killed the boss and now I don't play it anymore.
